Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Island County

Absolutely stunning home! From the views to the warm cozy vibes, this was the best airbnb stay I’ve had! They had binoculars and boots waiting for us to explore the beach. My friends and I are already planning a trip back to Marie’s fabulous house!

My wife and I have stayed at the Acorn Cottage several times. Richard and Dana are amazing hosts, they are the some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. The house is always spotless and the location is perfect for walking to downtown Oak Harbor. Can’t wait to come back!

The stay was beautiful, it was peaceful and quiet. The accommodations were great. Very private and cozy. The decor was super cute and fitting for the location.

Our group of 5 (we had planned on 7, but two had to cancel due to illness) had a great stay at Femi's place for a family holiday celebration. The views are gorgeous and the house is very spacious, and has enough separated spaces that everyone can have some space to themselves if they want it. (Note that there are quite a few stairs, including a handful between the kitchen/dining and living room, in case anyone in your group has mobility challenges.) The instructions for how to get to the house and how to use the things inside it were very clear, and Femi was very responsive to our questions. We didn't take much advantage of the outdoor space because we found ourselves wanting to stay inside in the warmth, but it was a very cool setup. The kitchen also had various fun gadgets (including several coffee-making options) and a good range of dishes/cooking tools too. We really enjoyed our stay!

We all have a great time at Sandy Hook. Very unique community, with fantastic views. The whole island lost power after a major wind storm on Friday night. We were without power on Saturday, but Darrell made sure we stayed comfortable by delivering firewood, instructions for generator and helping, troubleshooting and navigating our needs.

This was our second time staying at Nadja’s place. The bed is very comfortable, the water pressure phenomenal, the internet is fast, and the kitchen well stocked! The neighborhood is very private and quiet and then neighbors are very friendly! We love being able to walk our dogs on the beach. Try Island Nosh restaurant just down the road. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway, this is the place!

This was our second time staying here for our mid-winter school break. Our family of 4, including 2 teens, finds this home to be exactly what we need to destress and relax. Plenty of space for everyone to do their own things or to be all together for meals, conversation, and Lego building!

Place is right next to the ferry, which you will have to take to get back to the mainland. Fare is 11.20 for the car and driver and like 6 or 7 dollars, each additional person. Spotless home, very well maintained. There are a total of 5 beds, 1 in the guesthouse in the back. 1 bedroom has a bathroom inside. Very cozy, I liked sleeping in the loft honestly. Beds are comfortable. Home is in a very quiet little neighborhood by the water. Very comfortable stay and Kirsten was absolutely amazing through every step. I will return here for for another stay.

We loved our weekend here at Dana's place. Not too far from La Conner in a really nice and quiet area with some great streets to walk on.

It had been two years since we last visited The Roost, way too long! It's our favorite and only place to stay in Langley, and this time was as wonderful as all the other visits. Perfect location, right across the street from our favorite shop, The Star Store, where all the Langley action really is. Great view over the town and even the water. Absolutely marvelous condo, beautifully furnished, so comfortable we usually spend much of our time inside! This time they had even added a Nespresso machine, yay! We love to visit and catch up with Tamar at her incredible Star Store; she is the sweetest, fashion-forward woman imaginable! Langley would not be a town without this store; it has everything and items you will not find anywhere else. Also, across the street from the condo is a great little restaurant, Langley Kitchen, outdoor seating only, and the food is extremely creative and tasty. Thank you, Tamar & Gene, we can't wait to return! XO

My husband and I would definitely recommend Pauline’s Courtyard Studio. The studio was spacious and perfect for a couple. The kitchen was just what we needed for breakfast and the occasional meal as the wonderful restaurants of Langley were just a short walk away. We would love to return when we come back to see our grandchildren who live down the street. Thank you Pauline

My husband and I were in town for a long weekend to attend a wedding in the area. The loft was perfect for what we needed. It was near the town and the wedding venue. We didn't have any issues. Kat gave detailed instructions on how to find her place and how to get in.

We were there for a girl’s weekend and everything was perfect! Beautifully decorated and so comfortable with all the amenities. We would love to go back again!

I can't say enough about how great this place is, and Kelly's excellent hosting. We had a few extra needs that cropped up, and she proved to be flexible, resourceful, and attentive to what would make us the most comfortable. Kudos for Kelly! The decor is very cheerful... the use of warm, bright colors (yellow, peach, etc) offset the blue, rainy February weather, and the house shined brighter still, when the skies cleared and the sun came out. What a lucent 2-day stay at this 1879 Victorian!

We loved our stay here, the apartment was spacious and clean, and everything we needed was easy to find. Amy was very accommodating and communicative. Would love to stay here again.

Dog friendly is an understatement. You can tell Rene is a fan of dogs. She had many amenities for the pooches, from towels, wipes, dog treats galore, down to having water and food bowls too. The home is located in a very quiet neighborhood where we were able to let the dogs out to play and go potty without any concerns. This is a peaceful home away from home. We spent lots of time relaxing and resting -- this place was exactly what we needed. We like to utilize the kitchen and cook while we are on getaways. Most kitchens have the bare bone minimal kitchen utensils and cookware. We had everything we needed, to include an abundance of different spices. And for those who are Pampered Chef lovers, she even has a few PC items. The bathrooms/bedrooms have plenty of supplies to include full-size shower needs. Tons of bedding and linens too. I love that, as lots of places give you only a couple of towels and such for your stay. It was nice not to rashon the linens. 2 thumbs up!

We loved our stay at Stig’s place! The lower unit had everything we needed and 3 of the 8 of us stayed there comfortably. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful and Stig’s outdoor games kept us entertained. We also loved getting to use the fire pit in the evenings. We would highly recommend Stig’s place.

We rented Mike's place for the Thanksgiving weekend. My husband became ill and was hospitalize so we were not able to go. Mike had graciously given us a tour of the home the Spring before so I knew it would be perfect for my family. And it was, everyone had a great time cooking, playing games, swimming, and playing on the "Big Toy". We would definitely book this home again.

We had a great time at Mike's Villa! Lots to do for our 2 year old son, who enjoyed the playground equipment, watching the fish in the Koi pond, and swimming in the indoor pool. Our dogs enjoyed running around the fenced-in yard. The house was spotless and the view was stunning. Thanks for letting us stay, we had a great time and would love to come back!

The views were amazing! My favorite part was the multiple dining spaces and seating options for togetherness.

Very happy with property felt like one could dip toes in Puget Sound from property-as close as it gets. Kitchen was the best stocked for dishes/utensils, cooking/baking. Two ovens and two microwaves. plenty of basic cooking staples and spices. Spacious rooms. Plenty of bathrooms. Loved the main living room--first bnb we've stayed at that had enough seating for the number of guests staying.

What a great place!!!!! We wanted a quick getaway place and this was exactly what we were looking for. My son had a lot fun in the indoor swimming pool as my friends, my wife and I sipped cocktails in the hot tub nearby and eventually we moved onto sauna to end the night. This is a 5 star facility better than a lot of the five star hotels, we got much more than we paid for. Super clean place, beautiful surroundings, our host Mike personally greeted us and gave us a tour of his beautiful house. We can't wait to be back summer time, wonder what's like to sit in the back yard with drinks in our hands and watch sun set. Thanks again Mike, you are a great host.
