Such a beautiful place! We celebrated our engagement here and it was nothing short of magical. I made a mistake and booked 2 accommodations instead of 1 and Sverre arranged for me to change my dates which was so great instead of losing lots of money 😊 the cabin is so warm and cosy i absolutely loved the look and vibe of the place. We even got homemade caramel treats they were so yummy!

Good visit, nothing to add! Cottage was warm even in winter.

We had a wonderful stay at Rannveig and Johan's place. The location was great, especially being so close to the park and the bus stop. Johan helped us figure out our transportation to and from the airport and they responded immediately to any questions we had. Thanks for hosting us, Johan and Rannvieg - we hope to return again!

Wake up, open the curtains and see nothing but water. Get out of bed and jump right in the lake. That's what you can expect at this awesome place! Further more everything you need is available and everything is beautifully presented. It's easy to find, easy to park and the area is stunning. Would definitely recommend!

Small and beautifully decorated tiny house, sheltered location. Minus 17 degrees outside, beautiful winter light through large windows, warm inside. Extremely charming interior, full of surprises and smart solutions. Terrace and garden it should have been summer in! 😊 Recommended!

A cozy little cabin, with everything you need. Located nicely overlooking Glomma. Short detour from the main road, so this is a perfect stop on the way.

A very great recommendation. We had a short but very relaxing stay. The accommodation is equipped with a lot of love for detail and everything you need. It was very clean and cozy, you could dim all the lamps. The hot tub was great and Mina always responded very quickly and was extremely hospitable and helpful. We arrived by bus, note that no bus runs on weekends at this time. To Nes it is a great walk by the water and the coffee there is great, plus there is a joker for shopping. We would come back, thanks for everything 😊

My wife and I found the beautiful log cabin super cozy, it was warm and homely with the fire lit, perfect refuge for anyone travelling or hiking. Our host was very friendly and helpful. The scenery was just spectacular and we were even lucky enough to see the Aurora Borealis in a clear night sky during our stay. What an experience it was, would recommend it to anyone! Very reasonably priced too. Thank you so much! 😁

Beautiful night in this property. We did not expect so well, mountain views, very clean and comfortable accommodation. Great, no complaints.

We had a nice time with the cold outside temperatures (especially with the sauna). Here and there, the cottage had a few signs of wear and tear (lacquer of the kitchen and floors significantly worn). However, we were thoroughly satisfied and would come back if we were to come back to this area again.

The cabin is beautiful. It is right on the water and you can switch off and relax very well. I can highly recommend it. Anne is very nice and easily accessible. The bathroom is in the main house but very clean and not far to walk.

Super nice place to stay. We even went for a third time. This time both cabins rented with my sister. Halvard was very flexible in thinking along to rent both cabins on a date. It felt like coming home to peace in this great place.

Super nice cottage. You have to make a few compromises in terms of comfort, but a stay in the cottage slows you down.

I’d highly recommend this place if you want to get away from the city and have a peaceful weekend. The house is cozy, has everything you need for your basic necessities. You can see an awesome view of the sun rise and sunset from the living room. If you’re going there in winter you’d have to prepare yourself as it can be cold, however, there’s a fireplace in the living room to heat you up just fine 😀

We had amazing days in the cabin! We went skiing in Ål, Geilo and the last day in Nesfjell. Also went length on nearby tracks. Very cozy cottage and the view was magical. There were some cabins around but it barely appeared from the house and it felt very private. Really recommended!

Soulful and authentic Ålhytte in an ideal location - view of trees and beautiful mountains. Experienced very private. Simply a lovely place with great value for money. Short walking distance to prepared ski tracks. We had a great time and would love to come back!
