Great location, somewhat remote, close to Vouzela. The proximity of Ecopista (walking/biking trail) is a big bonus: you can walk to nearby towns through beautiful nature, cute houses and vineyards. The co-host, Fatima, was very helpful with advice, suggestions and recommendations. The house itself is beautifully renovated and furnished, and very clean.

A week of rest and quiet! The house is equipped with the necessary for 4 people(we were 3), and the air conditioning made all the difference, on the hot days we had! It has an outdoor area with barbecue and large table in the shade, where we ate all the meals. In the area has good river beaches (Meimão, our favorite; Meimoa and Benquerença),and places of great interest to visit: Monsanto; Penamacor; Belmonte; Idanha, .. San Martin de Trevejo in Spain, etc. António Fidalgo is a very cultured person with interesting conversations. Always attentive to needs. We like it very much and recommend it!

Teresa was very dear and helpful, even leaving the warm-up on to get to a warm house! It was very friendly in the tranquility with which it made us feel at home, to me and to my dogs. We'll definitely be back.

The house was fully equipped for everyday life, with a wide variety of household appliances, cleaners, toiletries, and even ping pong rackets for moments of leisure. The hostess and family who welcomed us were extremely sympathetic and helpful, ensuring that we truly felt at home. We stayed at Olive Meadow Cottage over New Year, and it was a truly unique experience! The cottage itself is cozy, beautifully renovated, and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing meals, and the wood-burning stove provided much-needed warmth during the cold evenings. The outdoor space was a highlight, offering a serene spot to soak in the tranquility and marvel at the star-filled night sky. Lynn was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring we felt right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, Olive Meadow Cottage is the perfect choice.

Immediately greeted by Rogerio and his beautiful energy. Such an effortlessly "down to earth" soul and comes across super altruistic. The house was meticulous and we was even gifted some eggs for the next day. If anyone is looking for some peace, re centering and grounding; I highly urge you to stay at this beautiful oasis!

Perfect stay, with nothing bad to point out. Both Ms Ana and Mrs who received us were very friendly, attentive and always showed availability. In addition, the house was very clean and properly equipped, also has the balcony with a divine view of the mountains. A repeat experience.
