Cozy and comfortable stay, host was great with communication as well as hosting, definitely recommend staying here!

Kevin’s place was simple and exactly what we needed for the weekend. There were thoughtful touches we appreciated.

Where do I start? I had surgery and would need assistance following the procedure. I had my mom come to town and needed to have one floor as she’s not able to use stairs well. This was the perfect place!! Everything is accessible and in one floor. My mother was comfortable and able to take care of me without having any issues. She loved the kitchen!! If she needed anything, she was able to find it! She constantly said she thought of EVERYTHING!! While thinking of my mom’s comfort, I too needed the ease of being able to move around without stairs. The 2nd bath right off the bedroom I was in was right on time!! There was plenty of space for company that came over to visit, plenty of space for flowers and cards, seating for dinner. Toys and games for my grandchildren….The list goes on!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend!!! Thanks Kimberly and Eric!! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax, heal, enjoy and appreciate with family and friends!!

My family had a fantastic stay. The house was clean, well set up, and very comfortable. My kiddos enjoyed the light up stars in one of the bedrooms. Jill was very responsive from initial booking through the end of our stay.

Home was exactly as advertised. Very quite area and beautiful surroundings Kelly was a great host, she met us upon arriving and walked us through the home, suggested local restaurants. Kelly is very personable and easy to approach, was responsive to a minor question we had Great experience would rent again

Do not hesitate to stay here! Our family of 5 spent 2 nights here while visiting our daughter at MSU. Everything was absolutely perfect! First, Jennifer is great with communications. She answered all of my questions, provided lists of restaurants and activities, and explained how things in the house worked. She always responded promptly to any questions I had. When we were worried about being snowed in, she dropped off a bag full of games! She told us to help ourselves to any food in the pantry. Next, the home was cozy and spacious. Plenty of beds and room to spread out. We cooked a meal and found everything we needed. We slept wonderfully in very comfortable beds with great linens. There was plenty of hot water for the showers along with shower amenities. No need to bring anything! It was a quiet street and we parked in the driveway. Easy to get anywhere, even in the snow. We loved spending time as a family playing games and watching tv together. We will definitely be back!

I reached out to Lynelle because I was looking for somewhere peaceful to propose to my gf. Lynette went above and beyond collaborating with me to make our night extremely special and memorable. I am proud to say that I left there being engaged! Lynette played such a huge roll in assisting me and making everything perfect, from rose petals, homemade chocolate covered strawberries, homemade cheesecake and just so many small things like remote candles, balloons, and other sweet treats! Everything was put together so thoughtfully and it was just perfect! I cannot thank her enough! her communication and helpfulness is top notch! the hot tub in the winter was also great and very serine! We will absolutely be back!! 12 out of 10! Do not hesitate to book!

We were traveling from Chicago to my daughter's home in Ypsilanti for Thanksgiving. While 20 minutes away, this was a beautiful property with a cozy feel thanks to the furnishings and fireplaces. Little added touches like a dedicated electric pot for tea, teabags and a small jar of honey were appreciated. Plenty of extra throws/blankets for cuddling on the couch. A large yard (not fenced) to take our puppy out to. Also nice to have an indoor garage space to use. Helpful in the cold. Amy was a pleasure to communicate with!

Our stay was great, apartment was clean, quiet and a great experience. Our host was great with communicating how the entry and parking worked. Will stay again!

Wow! We were familiar with the home prior to Kimberly's ownership and what they have done with the basement apartment is amazing. They truly thought of everything. Great design, very comfortable, well stocked, easy instructions and we loved the personality of Kimberly's orginal artwork, especially the entry mural. It was winter, but we could tell the gardens have been lovingly preserved which warms my heart since my sister, the previous home owner, had designed them over several years. Next time we are visiting family in the area we will be looking forward to another stay during the summer months so we can enjoy the pool, patios and their fun looking outdoor furniture. Thank you for a wonderful and warm welcoming place and the love you have given the home . We have traveled using airbnb often and this is a true gem.

The house was absolutely beautiful and Rachel was very responsive and kind! My only complaint is it was not easy to find but Rachel was up front about that so it wasn’t a surprise. Our group had a great time!!

This place was everything we needed!!! The location was perfect because it was so close to the Waterloo Hunt Club for our horse show. The inside is recently updated and has everything it listed, even a keurig! This home is on the water and give you assess to the dock for fishing, has a fire pit, beautiful patio and a great grill-eating area including a large picnic table. The 1.5 bathrooms was nice when we were all getting ready in the morning. It’s a quiet area so easy ins and outs. Just overall excellent and so comfortable! Will come back for sure when we have our next horse show!

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

We chose this cabin as our Christmas destination spot this year. Easily accommodated 5 adults and 5 kids under the age of 12, all of which were entertained by all the cabin has to offer. We’ve stayed in lots of cabins and this was our favorite! It was so gorgeous, private and peaceful. Annette was so responsive and hosted us wonderfully making sure a tree was up and there were Christmas decorations out and about to make it extra festive. Can’t say enough great things about our stay.

Could not have been happier with our stay here. Anne has created and maintained a very special feeling of place in this cottage. We enjoyed every minute of being here, even jumped in the lake! The cottage intuitively resets your way of living, if even for just a few days. Life slows down…sleep is deeper. The crickets louder. There is a grocery store less than ten minutes away (and Instacart can get you a Target run as well) The kitchen is so nice to cook in, and believe me, you won’t want to leave this place for dinner. We cancelled reservations because we wanted to stay in more. Best sink ever for dishes. Quiet, Simple, Morning and Afternoon Light, Long Stares at the water. Sounds of nature. Home cooked meals. Best dirt roads with wildflowers nearby if you need just one other thing to do. If your life needs this, do that here in this cottage.
