Simply perfect

We had a great time in the Normandy countryside, quiet home without neighbors. Chloe is an available host, responsive when asked. The house is very nice, tastefully decorated, true to the listing. It's a great place to meet with friends or family.

We were perfectly hosted by Cyrille and his wife. The gite is charming, peaceful and full of history. We'll probably go back with friends to try other lodges!

A real magic note in this cottage! The "hobbit" theme is followed in every detail and at the same time the cottage is very functional. Really full of good surprises even compared to the photos of the site (the shower space in particular left me doubtful and in fact is really great!). The outdoor space is vast, the large heated and covered pool was much appreciated by my teenagers even during this time of All Saints' Day and the direct access to the forest delighted my 4-year-old. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. I will be back with great pleasure!

An extremely clean and new haven of peace with incomparable charm! The host is responsive and very accommodating, we were able to spend an extraordinary stay in this authentic cottage! Moving from the kitchen, to the living room with the fireplace as well as the bedrooms, the character of this house is fabulous! I would highly recommend it!

Our stay was very pleasant: it is a beautiful cottage with all necessary amenities. The area is also fantastic and we had a wonderfully quiet New Year without fireworks. Hugo is a very friendly and helpful host and responds very quickly. I can definitely recommend staying in this cottage!

We had a pleasant stay with our big family. Everyone felt at ease and were able to enjoy the place. The presence of two large living rooms has made it possible to share festive or quiet moments to choose from.

Rod is an exceptional person, the welcome was perfect and his kindness was amazing. It was my daughter's birthday and Rod and his wife gave a gift and even bring a small cake with three candles for breakfast.. to tell you how generous and very very friendly they are. I recommend 1000%, the place was perfect for a very nice weekend.

Beautiful area in Normandy. Very peaceful place. The house was super clean with everything needed. Very nice garden beautifully kept. The manager of the property Gilbert is super helpful. It was a treat to deal with him. Highly recommended for a quiet weekend or a whole week. Very close to Les Andelys. A famous medieval town with a castle and an old church. Would love to come back next time in Normandy. Merci Valérie et Gilbert.

We were there as a family with two kids. We were very satisfied, you can reach both the coast and Paris in 1 1/2 hours by car, so we could see a lot in no time. At the same time, the house is a little more secluded and you have your peace and quiet. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Two couples with two children. We had a pleasant time. The layout of the apartment (2 bathrooms) and supplies are a real plus. The accommodation is identical to the photos and very clean. Finally, the interaction with Jayne is very fluid and she is available. I would highly recommend it

Airbnb ideal for the weekend with friends we spent in December. The living room and kitchen very well equipped, light coming in from all sides, we would have stayed longer. Recommended!

Perfect for spending the night in a quiet and pleasant location. The proximity to the Chateau du Bois de la Lune allows guests to stay at a reception or an evening. Christian and his wife were lovely, very welcoming. Recommended +++

A top location for enjoying the peaceful rural Normandy. The trail surrounding the location is perfect if you're looking for a 30min-1hr walk, or a casual bike ride. The fresh air and the quiet environment were perfect condition to recharge myself depleted by the tired city life. Nicole and Pierre are great host to have as well: they were responsive, accomodating, and caring. I'd love to visit again. 5 stars!
