We really enjoyed our stay here the place was clean and beautiful a great place for a get away.

Peaceful and relaxing. A home away from home with its beautiful open concept, spacious kitchen, large open deck, and the best views ever from the primary bedroom. Just about everything you'd need is supplied. Extremely accommodating with our 4 cats and never any hesitation. Check in is scheduled for 3:00PM, but we had a message saying we could check in earlier. The view is absolutely stunning all throughout the cottage from the beautiful north Atlantic ocean across the street to the family of three deer casually exploring the area. The fireplace is the perfect way to warm up in winter. I can only imagine how nice it would be in summer with two beaches so close by. We enjoyed our Christmas immensely at The Lookout that we were sad when it came time to leave.

What a beautiful spot on the ocean! So serene and picturesque. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Comfy beds and cozy fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to be back again soon!

Beautiful and spacious spot! Having both units made lots of space for our guests. The views off of the many decks was great, with the hot tub making the stay even more comfortable and relaxing. The poker table & set was a huge hit, and surround sound music was a nice touch. Will definitely be booking this stay again in the future. Close to the city for an easy weekend get away.

Our group of six enjoyed the cottage and bunkie. There is a lot of room to spread out and pursue different activities. The deck on the lake is a highlight. There are plenty of board games and comfy seating inside if the weather isn't cooperating. It was warm and cozy when the temperature dropped in early November. We used the cottage as a base for exploring the area - Annapolis Royal, Kejimkujik Park, and Digby. The property is in a remote lakeside location in a small cottage community.

We do a family girls trip in February every year and this year we switched it up and tried The Lux. The first day was overly windy and cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space but on day two, we had the best time! We went for a skate on the easy to access lake, followed by a sauna and hot tub, and showers in the main room which was great for getting in out of the hot tub and showering multiple kids at once. The rooms were all very cozy and we loved watching a movie in the dark movie room. Host was proactive and very responsive. Thank you!

We had the best experience,, from the welcome basket to the comfort beds and large rooms. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We played games and enjoyed sitting in the parlour with family. There were 9 adults and 1 children and we all enjoyed the house. Thank you Cheryl .

We had a very relaxing getaway at this cottage in Laconia. The kitchen was very well equipped and lots of room to store the food and items we brought along with us. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were warm and plentiful. The heat pumps made it easy to heat the cottage to a comfortable temperature in the cool weather. If only it was warmer we would have tried out the canoe. We liked the proximity of the cottage to shopping and great walking trails, and we walked along the road and just enjoyed the area as well. We would highly recommend trying out this cozy peace of paradise.
