Fab little place, had everything you needed and more. Super easy to find, and Laura’s instructions were really helpful and easy to understand. Location was perfect, half an hours walk from Cromer and a stones throw away from East Runton beach. Will definitely be back

Janice couldn’t have been more helpful or responsive. The accommodation was well-equipped and well-appointed. We had everything that we needed for a great stay. We already know the area, but this couldn’t have been better placed to enjoy the Broads and other amenities. We would love to return again soon.

We are 4 longtime friends in our 50’s that wanted a long overdue girls catch up. The house was everything we were looking for and more. It was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds & furniture. The kitchen well equipped as was the utility room. The hot tub & fire pit are a great addition and it was these that made our decision to stay here and they didn’t disappoint. The marshmallows and toasting sticks ks left by Alexis were a lovely touch. We managed a walk to the pub for some lunch and a walk down to the beach despite the very cold blustery February days, we imagine in the summer that would great especially as Alexis has buckets and beach items to use. Alexis sent us the info for the seals beach and local area prior to arrival and on the day of arrival communicated everything we needed to know for our arrival and responded quickly to any questions we had. We couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, chilled out break by the sea to stay

Immaculately clean (and I clean houses for a living) and well appointed property. Well stocked kitchen with tea/coffee/sugar available on arrival. Host was extremely helpful and responsive. Beds were super comfy and towels provided. If you have younger children, there is everything you need, travel cot, highchair, box of toys. Position is lovely over looking the harbour with a 5 min walk to the beach and plenty of parking. It is however a modern terrace and so noise from neighbours is heard easily, even just walking up and down stairs. Thought it worth mentioning in case you wanted a super quiet escape. Also the configuration of the rooms didn’t work so well for us so thought it worth mentioning. The shower room/toilet is off the dining room/3rd bedroom. So if using this as a bedroom as we did for my 16 year old the shower room is inaccessible if they are still sleeping. The 2nd toilet is on the 2nd floor and bath in the bedroom as shown. Would t stop us staying again but good to know

The hosts were brilliant, very responsive and allowed us in early. The house was perfect for the 8 of us. Lovely home and immaculate condition.

What a great host, so easy to communicate with and really helpful about the local area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this perfectly located traditional cottage.

Ideal location for the beach and local restaurants. Also not far from the Coasthopper bus which is ideal for walking the beach to Thornham and catching the bus back. Well furnished house, like home from home.

From the moment we booked we felt as if we were staying in a home from home. The house itself is immaculate, you could want nothing more from this cosy barn. Very high standard of living areas. Dona herself is lovely and can’t do enough for you to feel at home. It’s quiet and rural and everything you would need for a peaceful getaway with easy access to main roads if needed. Plenty of rural walks around just outside the front door. Thankyou Donna, we would recommend your venue to everyone.

A really lovely property with everything you could possibly need. The house was a really good layout and easily hosted our two families of 4 plus the dogs. The location on the beach was great, the beach front is very clean and not filled with tacky shops like further up the coast. The only negative I would say is that the area is a little run down but I believe this will improve in time. We also didn’t feel this affected our stay in anyway. We walked the dogs daily for Long Beach walks which was lovely, it’s certainly an impressive beach with amazing sand. We have dogs so it was great to have a good vacuum cleaner as I did this most days. Apologies we stripped the beds upstairs before we left, it was just habit. The other family left last as we needed to leave earlier, check out was as straightforward as check in. Ruth was great at communicating, always promptly responding to questions.
