Really great value air bnb, 2 minute walk from loads of cafes/pubs/restaurants. Lots of circular walks you can do from the doorstep. Well equipped kitchen. Great bath/shower. Bunk beds perfect for if you are staying with kids. Personal touch of biscuits was lovely would definitely recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stayed for one night, originally planned for two but our circumstances changed, our host was very accommodating with these last minute changes which I appreciated greatly. Chose this location due to its proximity to Alton Towers, which was some 5 minutes away by car. the bedrooms were all good sizes, plenty of spacs for us. would be happy to stay again.

The perfect winter weekend getaway! This cozy cottage is situated in the most picturesque setting amongst the rolling hills of the Peak District, the ideal city break. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need, from coffee pods for the coffee machine to a dishwasher, they have it all. The hosts are super welcoming and go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay - we arrived to a stunning welcome basket and card and banner for our friends birthday! Blakelow Farm was one for the books!

Soozy & Jen’s place was absolutely perfect for a weekend stay in the Peak District. Close to lots of beautiful scenery, and the great food Buxton has to offer, we had a wonderful time, only enhanced by their beautiful place. Thank you for going above and beyond, if we’re in the peaks again will definitely be re-booking! xx

We had a lovely weekend getaway with the family, we really enjoyed the surroundings and discovering the stunning views. A very memorable trip for us for sure and would come back for sure in the spring/summer. The house is super cozy and warm we enjoyed cooking there, having meals and having memorable time together and making memories. It was a true English experience and everyone enjoy their time . The location is very close to the station so it is easy to get in and out. I wish we had more time to explore. Glenys was a super welcoming host she made us feel at home and we thank her for her hospitality and attention to details. We hope to visit again soon.

We had a lovely stay at Ruth's cottage, we felt really welcome and at home. Ruth had lots of information about local walks, pubs, restaurants etc and was really responsive to messages. We stayed over Christmas and Ruth had decorated the cottage with Christmas decorations which was a really lovely added touch. We had a fantastic break and would definitely stay again.

Just came back from a wonderful stay here. Cottage was perfect and ideal for my husband, son and dog. Beautiful walks right on your doorstep and very peaceful. This is a very dog friendly cottage with a great porch area to dry them off and for them to enjoy some treats. The humans were not left out either with some much appreciated treats. The log burner is amazing especially with the cold weather we encountered. We have been many times to the Peak District and we all agreed this was our favourite place to stay yet.

Absolutely gorgeous week away with another family, the cottage was perfectly suited to us … a big living room for the kids to play and lounge in the evening with the fire on, dining area and great bedroom config which meant both families had room. We also with our little one and had our own bathroom and our friends had 2 kids in the double room and they had their own bathroom too. The welcome brochure was helpful! Lovely pub a 6 min walk away and Carsington water visitor centre was perfect for some exploring. A brilliant stay thank you and we will hopefully be back.

Me & my wife had a lovely one night stay at the property for my Wife’s birthday! We were able to take our dog who loved the grounds & he was able to play with his football & tennis ball for hours with no worry of him escaping. The inside of the cabin was as described and it felt like home from home. We 100% would visit again & have already recommended the property to family & friends Thankyou!😘x
