Review for Sonder – Great Stay for Igloofest Gatineau We stayed at this Sonder for a night during Igloofest Gatineau, and it was a great deal for the price. The room was clean, well-maintained, and a good size for our group of five. It was a bit cold at first, but we got extra blankets, so it wasn’t an issue. The space is compact but worked perfectly for our needs since we just needed a place to sleep. The hosts were responsive through their app, which made communication easy. The only drawback was the parking—it was limited, and it would have been nice to have at least one reserved spot per room. Overall, a solid stay for the price, and we’d book again for a similar trip!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The space had all the essentials, and I especially appreciated the comfy bed, fast Wi-Fi, and well-equipped kitchen. Everything was well-maintained, and it felt like a home away from home. Eduji’s apartment was incredible. It perfectly catered to all my requirements. It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed. The location was fantastic—just a stone’s throw away from the Ottawa Hospital and CHEO, and within a 5-minute drive of restaurants and amenities. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there.

Clean apartment, nice views in the best neighborhood in Aylmer, close to the beach and pubs. To note that the bed in the 2nd bedroom is a trundle bed so best for kids and not 2 adults (and there is no pull out couch) so I would say this unit can comfortably accommodate 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids.

Wow! What a great space. Right near the convention centre, lots to do, easy accessible. The gym was a great amenity, everything was automated and worked well. The design was very modern and the space was clean. A great deal compared to other spaces nearby. Will absolutely stay at a Sonder property again.

Dunia was a great host! She was very responsive and communication was 10/10! I will say that the photos on the listing make the place look better than in real life, in my opinion. Think college dorm vibes. BUT overall we had a good experience.

This is a very well-maintained townhouse in a newer residential part of Ottawa. The location was perfect for us because we were visiting our grandkids nearby. The house has everything you need for a quiet and restful stay. There are walking trails and the neighborhood is served by transit and is traffic-calmed. There is a large supermarket and a drug store and other shops in walking distance. Samreen is a gracious host who is very responsive when contacted.

Very nice place with great room for larger group

Sandra and Sonya have a fantastic home in a lovely neighbourhood. All the amenities, with a well-equipped kitchen. Two minutes to the beach, and a five minute walk to our son’s wedding venue. It was absolutely perfect for us. Thank you Sandra and Sonya!

my friend and I were so happy on our stay at Tuan's place. the garage right infront of the entrance. super flexible with check in times. the only issue was the locker working with batteries and gave us a bit of an issue but not a big deal compared with the great stay we had. thank you Tuan! we definitely would love to stay here again!

This modern, elegant townhouse is in a great location, with lots of amenities and a very cool design. There are A LOT of great restaurants nearby. And it's walking distance to a lot of cool places including the art museum and Notre Dame cathedral. Jenny was incredibly responsive and helpful with all questions. The house is above a waffle shop so every afternoon the sweet smell of deliciousness wafts through the rooms. And bonus - the waffles are amazing!

Emily’s house was a dream and is highly recommended. Our family of 5 (with 3 kids under 10) spent a week at Emily’s house while in Ottawa to help out a family member. We were so grateful for Emily’s hospitality. As we were there during yet another wave of the pandemic, coupled with virtual school, we were basically in lockdown at the house - it could have been a very unpleasant week. Instead, it was truly wonderful to have Emily’s beautiful home to feel grounded in. The house was clean, comfortable, exactly as represented in the pictures, and we were struck by the attention to detail. The communication with Emily was perfect. After a week in the house, we joked about staying a week longer! There is no doubt that we will return.
