A beautiful house, in a glorious location, overlooking a golf course. Tom and Sarah were great hosts, who responded quickly to any queries. The open plan kitchen/dining/living area was great to gather and relax in. Beds were very comfortable and linen was spotless. The hot tub was an added bonus and great to spend time in on a cold winter evening! Very happy to recommend to other potential visitors.

Our second stay at this beautiful cottage and won't be our last. It is so cosy and comfortable and the huge hot tub is great! Convenient for the little town where theres lovely places to eat and drink. Had a great weekend

A beautifully presented cottage in a fabulous location. Very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need. Our dogs really enjoyed it and fantastic walks right out of the cottage onto the Pennine Bridleway and Pennine Way. Great hosts and very good communication - would love to return and highly recommended !

The Lodge was amazing, so happy I booked this for my partners birthday! Very well set out and decorated inside, spacious as well if we were to bring our dog next time! The underfloor heating was a great addition when coming back in after being in the hot tub! The views from the hot tub area were stunning and the reason I booked the lodge and they didn’t disappoint! Philippa was a great host and was responsive to messages and was helpful! She also helped me surprise my partner with a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Can’t wait to come back and explore the area more.

A cosy cottage with everything needed for a wonderful stay in Meltham! We stayed whilst visiting friends nearby and it was the loveliest home from home. The cottage is cosy, quiet and spotlessly clean. We worked from there for a couple of days and the WiFi worked perfectly for us, we also took our dog and he loved it, a nice secure garden and even had spare dog bowls if needed. Plenty of blankets provided in the spacious living room, made even more cosy with the burner! A really well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds, we slept very well during our stay, helped by the blackout curtains too. The location is also great, around the corner from a supermarket, a lovely bar (the Fourth Fiend) and plenty of nice restaurants/take aways nearby, we loved the Pink Elephant! There’s also plenty of pretty walks nearby, we particularly liked the short walk to Folly Dolly falls on our lunch breaks and explored more of the Peak District too! We’ll return without hesitation on our next visit!

Very helpful host with great communication skills, offered us options to all our questions and has a beautiful little cottage. One improvement I would suggest is to have body wash etc in the bathroom, when you stay in hotels often, you tend to just expect this, and yes, we forgot to bring ours so had to pop out and buy some. Lovely place within walking distance to some nice bars. :)
