It was a great home. Everything I need was there. They had coffee snacks in the house. They had great restaurants near by as well.

I absolutely LOVED this tiny (but spacious!) house! It was so cozy, and so comfy, and so perfect! And, bonus, it smells SO good as soon as you walk in the door! It’s super homey and very clean! The furniture & bed are very comfortable. It’s very safe, and, as a city dweller myself, I found it to be very quiet, just usual city noise, nothing egregious (but earplugs & noise machine are provided for lighter sleepers). The kitchen is very well stocked, and the shower is wonderful (with plenty of towels!). Lots of closet space as well. There’s not a wasted inch in this adorable home! Beautiful landscaping & lots of birds! A/C works like a dream! Great records for the player & I indulged every chance! George was wonderfully communicative & has a colorful, detailed house book, which I truly appreciated. It’s truly a retreat, smack dab in the middle of the city, with beautiful skyline views! I can’t recommend it highly enough & can’t wait to come back myself! 5 stars all around!

"Staying at this Airbnb was an absolute delight! The location is simply unbeatable—right in the heart of the city with easy access to all the main attractions, restaurants, and shops. The house itself was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect home away from home. The pool and backyard was to die for! Our host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking to explore the area while enjoying a relaxing retreat. Five stars all the way!"

Enjoyed our stay at The Hideaway! We stayed for over two week while my Dad recovered from open heart surgery. Place is as described and Mel communicated proactively and was incredibly responsive when we did have a questions. Would recommend!

Could not have asked for a better stay right in the heart of The Heights. The thoughtfulness Vera and team put into their homes is truly unmatched. Every piece of vintage furniture, decor, and kitchen equipment is so unique and evident that it was all hand selected and curated. LOVED the marriage of old + new with modern amenities like the shower! Plus the comfiest bed and linens. Not to mention, the bikes on property came in clutch. Husband and I literally never drove anywhere in The Heights and spent hours just cycling around the historic neighborhood, making pit stops at local coffee shops and eateries. Pro Tip: Do Not sleep on Ema! A few blocks away and James Beard nominated. Overall, perfection and 10/10 will book with Vera again. Already concocting an excuse to come back!

I made a last-minute decision to check in and was promptly accommodated. The response time was excellent, and the place was exceptionally clean. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

When we needed a place to stay and work from home for 3 weeks while our floors were refinished and house shown/inspected, we were nervous about that long of a stay but Ella’s home was perfect - clean, comfortable, well appointed and well located. Close to everything, we enjoyed walking the cute Sunset Heights neighborhood. Ella is a wonderful and responsive host and we would definitely recommend her place!!
