House vacation rentals in Houston County

We enjoyed our holiday family getaway. The hot tub and pool room were fun options for entertainment. The cabin worked well for our family and offered all the amenities for a great stay.

This was a great place to stay on the south side of La Crosse, WI. Our host, Amber, was great to work with and was super responsive to questions, etc. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and dual living room areas. Having access to the garage space was another huge plus with the ice fishing gear we had to thaw out. The kitchen was well stocked with nice cookware and utensils - easy to find items and an abundance of space to prep meals! This place was by far the nicest we have ever stayed at! We highly recommend this rental and it would be great in the summer time as it has a really nice pool area and deck space!

We loved our stay. Very homey & clean. The hot tub was wonderful! Chris was very accommodating. We definitely plan to come back.

Cute house in a great location on campus!

We had a wonderful stay at Corrine's. She was very responsive to any questions we had. She gave great recommendations for places to eat in La Crosse. Her house is beautiful. The hiking trail was well taken care of, was a great hike, and it very had pretty scenery. The pool was clean and was so fun to hang around.

Mindy was great from the start of the Airbnb and to the end! She was very responsive when we asked for local pizza recommendations in town and confirmed our questions without hesitation even when she was trying to enjoy her own Vacation! She was so nice and her home is amazing! Enjoyed the hot tub and how spacious her whole hole layout was. Would love to stay again here with my girlfriends.

An all around perfect stay nestled in the hills of the driftless zone. Spotlessly clean upon check-in. I mean, like REALLY clean. This place is STOCKED. There’s a good chance the kitchen is better equipped than the one in your home. So, if you’re traveling with a group, you will have no problem at all cooking for everyone. The views from the front sitting room are awesome. When we were there it snowed a few inches and we got to sit there and take it all in. Although only 20 minutes from La Crosse, it feels wonderfully remote. We saw lots of wildlife like deer, turkeys, and (maybe) a baby black bear. Can’t recommend this place enough. If you have the chance, book!!

Stayed here while working out of town with my crew, was very easy to book and had a response in a very timely manner. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to keep a group together in a shared place for a great price!

We loved staying here! With three littles this couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Our kids loved playing with the toys that were perfect for various ages, and there was a pack and play, high chair, etc etc which saved us so much stress when we packed. Becca was more than accommodating when I had questions, and even left some things in the fridge she thought we could use. The house was cozy and just what we needed, with a fully appointed kitchen, fast internet, easy parking, plenty of fresh linens and cozy blankets, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Becca!

Great place to stay. Close access to the bike trail.

This is a very good deal if you need a gathering place for family in downtown LaCrosse. The gathering room and dining room make it super easy to hang as a family. Lots of sleeping space - although the bunk beds are a bit short (on one) and high (on the other). The bathrooms are beautiful and it’s close to all things you need in LaCrosse. Friendly notice that it is typical of the area - an older home. But it’s well kept for the most part. Overall the price is a good deal for multiple families in comparison to downtown LaX hotels.

Jason was a great host, messaging to check in on us at the beginning of our stay. Place was clean, beds were comfortable. It was easily accessible to everything in LaCrosse. Would stay again!

Great place, very accommodating, beautiful place and was super surprised they built the house themselves. Wish I had more time to enjoy the place since me and my group only really used the place to sleep since we were out most of the days we stayed here. Thanks, Lynn, for having us.

The house worked out great for our large family gathering. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We loved the historic touches.

My husband, son and I enjoyed our stay at John’s place very much! Having the dock for our boat available was a great bonus, at a very reasonable fee. The fishing was also really good, caught a bunch of bluegill, a few perch, a couple of bass and one catfish. The place was very clean and well equipped with all your basic needs. We will be back.

We had a great stay at Teri’s place! The space was very clean and cozy. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was very charming. It was well kept and the hosts were very friendly and communicative. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this spot!

The little green house was a great launching pad for my family’s La Crosse adventures. With thoughtful inclusions for kids and a dog, a clean well kept home and a great central location in town, I wouldn’t hesitate to book here again.
