Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Horn-Bad Meinberg

Those who want to be quiet and beautiful are in good hands there. We had 2 wonderful days at this house with 3 kids and dog. Great and very tastefully decorated...

Great hosts, cozy, well-equipped house, great hiking trails, .... perfect for refueling, relaxing, unwinding!

Such a cool space! Perfect combo of historic and modern. The kids loved the loft bedroom. We took a train to Hameln and grabbed a taxi to the house (only $10 euros). Once there, we walked everywhere. You’re a few blocks from the Main Street and square. House was clean and beds comfortable. My only regret is we didn’t stay an hour extra day to relax in the garden/patio.

We were in the house with six adults and were able to divide ourselves very well thanks to the variety of rooms. The beds were made and there were towels for everyone. We could also use the oven and heat the ground floor well. There is a beautiful garden and a terrace accessible from the kitchen and living room. A bench is also in the garden, something protected, on which you can sit comfortably. The place is small, a little hilly and very quiet. You can easily hike into the surrounding nature. For people who want to experience something, certainly not the right place - but just right! We will be happy to come back...

We felt very comfortable. The place is close to nature and quiet. Communication was always reliable. Amenities also great, lots of useful details (e.g. good knives). If you're looking for a nice little getaway, this is the place to be. Hiking trails right outside the door.

Also during our second stay in the remise we were very satisfied with the accommodation. Nothing has changed about the good location, the great amenities, the easy check-in and check-out, the cleanliness of the accommodation and the pleasant communication with Matthias. I assume we'll be back here again.

We stayed at the property for the second time. It was very nice and cozy again. We would also like to come a third time. Totally quiet, the last house in a cul-de-sac, behind the house a river, inside a cozy oven and a cozy kitchen. A beautifully renovated half-timbered house. You can see the neighbor's chickens, has a lot of space in the garden and behind the house. A real sweetheart. Communication with Ina is also excellent.

It was once again a perfect stay, in a super cozy apartment, in a beautiful, quiet area. On the recommendation of our hostess, I am easily taken by bus to Detmold to the market. Everything is super accessible. Also on site a beautiful spa park to linger and rest.

We felt very comfortable. The apartment was tidy and everything worked out. The treat for our four-legged friend was nice. We will be happy to come back.

We have been repeat offenders and felt very comfortable in this beautiful apartment for the second time. It was all sparkling clean and it is very stylish. The large partly landscaped garden, partly natural, invites you to relax and dream. A true nature experience. The contact with Beatrix was uncomplicated very friendly. Spent the weekend there and are extremely satisfied. Pure relaxation. Everything furnished with love for detail. We would book again in a moment. Top house, top equipped and nice host. There have been many places to stay, but it stands out.

We had booked a 4-day stay and wanted to celebrate Christmas with the family near the accommodation. But then everything changed. Thanks to Heike's flexibility and understanding, we were able to spend a relaxing time in the beautiful apartment (decorated with a lot of love, for every little detail). We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The location is perfect for families, with a playground, toys, and plenty of space for kids to run around. It’s well-equipped for babies, with a crib, changing station, diapers, and a high chair. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the space comfortably fits a family of five (two adults, two kids, and a baby). We chose this Airbnb so our 7-month-old could see farm animals, and it didn’t disappoint—there are horses, chickens, and friendly dogs. It’s also a peaceful getaway, far from noise, perfect for relaxation. We briefly met Rainer but spent time with his daughter and her husband, who were lovely. Highly recommend!

We were delighted with this cozy, unique apartment, which is embedded in a fantastic landscape. If you are looking for peace and great nature, this is the place to be. Not to mention our landlady, such a lovely soul. Dear Carola, we will fondly remember the wonderful time and will be very happy to come back!

A fantastic, magical, cozy place to stay that we can fully recommend!! We were allowed to spend a family weekend here. It was wonderful for EVERYONE despite the age range of 16-82 years. In reality, the rooms are even nicer than in the photos. Even in the darker season it is very cozy here. The view of the castle is the icing on the cake. Contact with Anna was excellent. Thanks for the wonderful time here!

Overall a really perfect stay. The house was exactly as presented and hoped. Plenty of space, plenty of sleeping options, sauna, bathtub, great kitchen and and and... Sabrina also left the pool "open" so that we could take ice baths before and after each sauna session. Simply phenomenal and highly recommended. Note on the four star categories. Here I was extremely petty. The location is on a busy road and not in the countryside - it didn't bother us, but maybe you should know. The apartment was also super clean and tidy but of course you notice that people usually live in it. And that didn't bother us, but it's not a five-star hotel. As mentioned - I was now very petty, so I don't give out five stars everywhere! 😅 But overall highly recommended for six people!

It was beautiful on this space. We felt immediately comfortable and didn't want to leave. Very nice!

Great apartment in perfect location. We were on site with two dogs. You could go for a great walk, right outside the front door. The apartment itself was bigger than in the photos. Plenty of space for four and two dogs. The landlady was very nice - she did not disturb our dog bark either. The neighbourhood was also nice. If you like to pet cows, roosters crow and do pigeons are just as right here as people who want to explore the area around the Teutoburg Forest. 110% recommended.
