Finnish cottage dream at its best! Right by the water, the hammocks climbs in the wind and in the direction of the evening sun. The cottage has all the amenities and very clean. The wooden sauna had a soft steam and the sandy bottom of the beach crowned the experience. And best of all, just an hour's drive to Helsinki! Thanks to the hostess!!

A great place to have a small party. The bedrooms were a good size. There were plenty of cooking utensils and glasses, cups, and plates in the kitchen for a larger group. Warm recommendation.

Our stay at Linda's lakehouse was very cosy. The house is accommodating, comfortable and even in mid winter kept us warm easily. For us it was a bit adventurous as well due to the lack of running water and strange toilets, but the instructions on everything are super clear so it was a really good experience. Stunning nature and hiking trails in the surrounding region and the glass villages of Iitala and Nuutajarvi on a good driving distance (tip!). Linda was a very friendly, patient and easy to reach host!

Nice place, well connected. Beautiful scenery and wonderful natural peace. The sauna was great, even in the river we took a sauna break. Tidy and functional spaces, liked the apartment. Thank you.

Cozy cottage within convenient distance from the center of Lahti 🙌

Merja is a very open-minded, interested and open-hearted person. She responds very quickly to requests. Regarding arrival and departure times, it is very flexible. The cottage is easy to find, is located in a quiet residential area and is comfortably furnished. Many old pictures of Vääksy hang on the wall and there is plenty of information material about Vääksy and its surroundings. The Mökki is ideal for one to two people. It has a good internet connection and is very nice and warm even at high minus degrees.

Wow, what a beautiful location. And such a lovely house. There was a an original sauna on the lake which allowed us a true Finnish experience. Elina was the perfect host. She was always responsive and keen to ensure we had a great time. Anyone booking this place will not be disappointed. We will be returning- maybe when there is snow on the ground. We truly enjoyed our stay at Kristiina's and Timo's place. We loved everything that these cabins offered: the nice view, the peaceful environment, the outdoor area, the sauna and boating on the lake. The perfect place for a little family reunion.

Asikkala's paradise was perfect for our friends' family's weekend away. The yard was beautiful and there was plenty to do for everyone. We saunas, our toddler swam in the tub, dip in the swim, went fishing, made pizza in the pizza oven, played croquet, and dined on the deck. We were a group of 6 couples, with 2 toddlers, 2 babies, and 1 dog. We had a great time, and there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out with.

The whole property is just beautiful. We really enjoyed the direct access to the water and the stunning nature around. The house itself is modern, clean and generally well designed. All in all a great place to stay, I’d love to come back someday.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house , very good location and beautiful well maintained grounds . We also liked the private area near the lake , the pier , the new sauna, everything matches the description and the house is very comfortable . There is everything you need . Also, Hannah and Katya responded very quickly to our requests and questions. We would love to come back again !
