We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and located in a quiet neighborhood in Purmerend. It was a great base for exploring both Amsterdam and the surrounding areas like Zaanse Schans and Volendam. The host was incredibly responsive and provided helpful local tips, which made our trip even better. We particularly appreciated the free parking spot, which made it easy to drive to nearby attractions and use public transport into the city. The Airbnb had a cozy living space to relax in after a day of sightseeing. It felt like a home away from home! We’d definitely stay here again next time we visit. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful stay with easy access to Amsterdam and other charming Dutch towns.

It was a great experience to stay in this stunning old building. My dog an me felt very welcome. Everything was perfectly clean and the room really cozy. Saskia was easy to communicate with and really helpful! :)

Vidi lived in the accommodation as described and was also responsive to questions. She is very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the rented e-bike and she called the store directly. Her private area is separated, so you still have your own privacy and your own entrance. When she noticed that I was arriving earlier in Alkmaar and leaving later, she offered me an earlier check-in and a later check-out. In advance, she gave me good tips for a supermarket and e-bike rental on request. It's about a 25-minute walk to the center, but I knew that before. But you can also take the bus. The bus stop is around the corner. I really enjoyed my stay and would book with Vidi again anytime.

Warm welcome with coffee and nice waffle. A few things explained about the island, the surroundings and the nice things to visit and do. Walk through the room/apartment together. Marianne and Maarten are friendly and warm people you can always ask for things and they also give tips. The accommodation is nice and quiet despite the fact that it is on a main road. Excellent layout and enough space for 2 people. Just a pity that the TV is in the sleeping area, but that can be solved by watching TV via your tablet/phone /laptop. Had a wonderful holiday and we would love to come back sometime. Marianne and Maarten, thank you for the good care.

Recommended! The location is perfect, easy to find, close to museums, mini supermarket, bar, cafe, restaurant, ATM, bus and train stop etc. Monique is very kind, she has prepared a delicious breakfast for me in the mornings, her room is very cozy and clean, the backyard has a beautiful view. An experience to do, convenient to get to Texel

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. A very nice accommodation with a perfect location in de Koog, very short distances to both the beach and the city center. We didn't miss anything, everything is as described. The room was very clean, lovingly and nicely decorated, so you felt right at home. The breakfast was super tasty, fresh and could be put together daily as desired. The contact with Ilona and Yerko was very friendly 😊

We were hosted very well by Bianca, she is a charming host, caring while remaining discreet. She showed us her farm, told us about her business and introduced us to her animals (ducks, horses, sheep, dog, cat, alpacas, we were able to pet one), she kindly answered all our questions about them, it was interesting. The accommodation matched the photos and descriptions well, cozy, clean, spacious, the bed was very large and comfortable, with a nice duvet cover filled with alpaca wool, we slept very well! The place is peaceful, quiet at night. The tasty breakfast, prepared with love and kindness (we were two people without gluten and she brought us a basket containing several kinds of fresh and exquisite gluten-free rolls), offered a lot of homemade products, it was hearty and delicious! We enjoyed ourselves! Bianca is really an exceptional host, everything was perfect at her place!

Jacob is really friendly,talkative man who offers beatiful rooms with nice view in a beatiful location (close to the train and boat). Rooms and bathroom were beatiful and clean. And breakfest was awesome!

We had a fantastic stay at Miko's place. The room is great and even our dog was welcome and had room for his basket. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise every time, varied and delicious! The location is great, after a few minutes' walk you are either on the beach, in the village or on hiking trails. We enjoyed it very much, we were the first but certainly not the last time there.

We had a wonderful night before we left for Terschelling. The place was clean and spacious. Everything was available for a nice breakfast. We would love to come back again.

We liked it here a few years ago so much that we had to come again now. We were delighted that nothing changed. Ok this time the weather was better. So we may come back in a few years.

We had a lovely stay in the nice cottage in the beautiful garden. A paradise of peace and quiet. There was a nice seat with great views and it is very private. The owners are very friendly and available. in the morning, the chickens scared at our doorstep. We had chosen a delicious, richly filled, oatmeal breakfast with homemade kefir. Thanks and we'd love to come back!!!
