Stayed the night with my girls. Celebrating a 16th birthday with big sister on the other side of the state. They wanted homemade pizzas, movies and games. Man oh man did we find the right spot! I let Derrick know our plans and he was wonderful enough to have pizza pans, pizza cutter and UofM oven mitt out and ready! (Go Blue). Had a comfortable area for everyone to sit and play games, watch movies and even catch a snooze. Lots of accessible areas to plug in and charge. Easy to use amenities. Updated and fun space. Garage was a hit with all the games. Was a little chilly so we quickly curled up in front of the fire place for movies. Beds comfy. Bathroom excellent. Plenty of extra towels and blankets. Cute yard with well maintained property. Was cold, but beautiful to watch the sunrise from the swing by the bay. Thank you for making my girls happy. So so so much better than any hotel. Only thing better would have been warm Michigan summer!

Scott and Jennifer are great hosts and have a beautiful property. The area is very quiet and the perfect place for a quick trip away from the city. We really appreciated Scott’s attentiveness with salting the area and shoveling us out after a snowstorm. Overall, a great Airbnb pick. We can’t wait to check out their other spots!

Robert was friendly and responsive and provided us with everything we needed for an outstanding and peaceful getaway. The location was beautiful and the hot tub was relaxing and enjoyable. The place was clean and it felt welcoming and cozy. We will definitely be coming back.

I recently stayed at this charming Airbnb home by the lake during winter, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location was absolutely magical, with beautiful sunrises reflecting off the still waters of the lake — a peaceful winter wonderland. But what truly made this stay stand out was the genuine compassion and kindness of the hosts. From the moment I booked the property, I felt like I was in good hands. The hosts went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. They were incredibly responsive, always checking in to ensure that my husband and were comfortable. We will be back for summer!

Great spot; should we need accommodations in the area in the future we'll be back. Josh was very communicative and during a ice storm they went above and beyond to ensure the ice was cleared and walkways were salted. A great place to stay in a very safe, walkable neighborhood.

Cozy stone cottage

We stayed for 10 days over the 2024 Holidays, where we visited our daughter on a farm near Blissfield, MI and I worked remotely from Amy's place. The house was a high quality stone cottage built in what I'd guess were the 1920s or 30s, reminiscent of the home in which Kay grew up in Mt. Morris, Michigan in the 1950s. Prints of Amy's watercolors throughout the home were beautiful and unique. We especially enjoyed the stone fireplace in the family room and the glassed-in sun porch. The location was on a quiet residential street but with great access to major streets with lots of restaurants, services, and all kinds of shopping within a few blocks. Amy responded quickly when we texted her, and proved to be very accommodating to our requests. We will definitely try to book again when we visit our daughter in the future.
