Vacation rentals in Highlands

Very cute cottage in front of water with private pier. Very quiet since no neighbors right next to each other. This my trip was right after the cold front passed so still cold to hang out outside. I did not get to experience all the things this gem had to offer. Kayak, lounge chair by the porch, and by the deck leading to pier. It would be perfect sitting there while waiting for fish to bite. If you are visiting in cold months, there are space heaters to get toasty inside. Full kitchen with many pots and pan, baking pan if you like to make yourself home. Electric stove top, Keurig ready. Huge couch/section to lay down and enjoy TV. Bar table and stool to have some breakfast looking dusk through the window. Nice hot shower, comfortable bed, plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Everything was perfect. You will love it.

I stayed at Mel’s place for a couple of days, and it was a fantastic experience. The house is exceptionally clean and stylish. I especially loved the daybeds—they made watching TV incredibly comfortable. The backyard is well-maintained and provides a lovely spot to relax in the evening when the weather allows. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to the freeway, making everything easily reachable. I highly recommend staying here!

Great area and safe place to stay in Houston. Would highly and would definitely come back. Lots of things to do in area close to Galleria & museum district and several restaurant/ places nearby for travel essentials.

Well kept home that was clean, and fully stocked. Beautiful views. I loved the balconies on both sides of the house. So kind that they provide extra fishing rods. The dock is nice and in great shape so it felt very safe to fish from. Eddie offered a recommendation for getting shrimp and responded back quickly to any messages. I definitely recommend this home.

The beach house was perfect for the weekend getaway with my family. First of all, you can spot the house from the main road- love the purple. The interior of the house was very pristine and vibrant. We enjoyed the proximity of the house to the beach and the tiki bar downstairs. Most important, thank you for being pet friendly! My dogs enjoyed it very much. Thank you once more!

Lovely place in a beautiful spot! Enjoyed a couple of days there and would definitely return. Angela is a friendly and helpful host and I enjoyed communicating with her. The beds are very comfy and there were plenty of extra blankets. The electric fireplace really added a cozy touch
