Vacation rentals with a sauna in Highland Council

Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

The Abby was charming and lots of space in our unit. The family had room to spread out. The town of Fort Augustus was nice through restaurant selection was limited and you had better order by 8pm or the kitchens close. The rooftop deck with enclosed sphere was very nice. The sphere kept out the wind and rain (Which Scotland is known to have in abundance!)

This was our favorite stay of our trip to London and Scotland. The apartment is on the top two floors with a wrap-around deck on three sides, offering views of Loch Ness and the surrounding hillside. The kitchen has a large Aga stove, which is perfect in the winter for heating and drying out clothing from rainy adventures. The whole Abbey looks like a Harry Potter movie set, which tied into our other stops on the trip. We used the game rooms at night, and it was a quick walk down a path to town. A real person checks you in and gets you all settled, which is great because we were a little concerned about how to find our unit. This stay was everything we love about an AirBNB over a hotel.

Absolutely lovely place. Beautiful building. Our stay was perfect. There's nothing else to say. It was that good.

Dreamy apartment with incredible views and very peaceful environment. We found the place super comfortable, spacious and warm. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, the shower was amazing and the bed very comfy. The abbey's amenities and surroundings were to die for. We are definitely staying here again.

This experience is way above our expectation, we really enjoy the stay at the highland club. the room is very clean and well organized, it has everything that you could imagine. The staff is also very nice, really support us a lot as we have 2 kids and quite a few luggage’s with us. We will come again next time in summer

The Highland club was a wonderful spot to stay in with the beautiful view of Loch Ness a few steps from your door. I love being in nature so this was perfect holiday. Very responsive host and the staff were wonderful.

Our time at the Highland Club and in the Scriptorium was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed every minute and were always excited to return "home" and unwind. The atmosphere was incredibly romantic, with beautiful architecture that felt cozy and inviting. The entire vibe of the abbey was nostalgic, making it a joy to stroll through, especially with Loch Ness right there to offer stunning views. The facilities were superb, from the pool and steam room to the lounge where we enjoyed games of pool and chess. Once again, the rooms were simply beautiful and perfect for relaxation. It served as a great starting point for exploring the Highlands. What a charming little place! We truly enjoyed our stay and are so glad we chose such a lovely location!

We loved our stay in The Millie. The house is just beautiful and it felt like home for the week. There was everything we needed for a great Christmas stay for two families, the house was warm and cozy and with enough space for everyone.

This was one of our favourite stays on our trip. So much charm in this historic house with all the renovations that made this house a perfect and comfortable stay for our group of 8. Private but walking distance into town and shops, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We hugely enjoyed our stay at Birch Cottage, so much so that we extended it by an extra day to make the most of it. The cottage was very clean and tidy and the kitchen well equipped. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was a lovely touch and made it feel even more cosy! Although there are other cottages, it was so peaceful and quiet. The views from the cottage are beautiful and so many nice walks in the area. Lots of good recommendations in the guest information folder, including walks to Uath Lochans and the walk at the back of the cottages, as well as the butchers in Kingussie. Would highly recommend staying here!

Had lovely week break at Silver Stag. Great location-quick walk to town centre/lots of dog walks around/amazing outside space. Cat provided lots of detail on area around which was very helpful.

We had an amazing stay at Oyster. The house is in a stunning location. It is so peaceful and we also really enjoyed watching the local wildlife from the terrace : ) There are plenty of things to do near the house and also scenic walks right from your doorstep. There were also plenty of recommendations provided by Nina at the house. And the sauna with a direct view of the Loch was the icing on the cake! Thank you for an amazing stay: we definitely want to return for another visit!

What a wonderful stay my family and I had at this beautiful home. We were wowed from opening the front door, it has everything you need in an ideal location. Thank you for allowing us to take root for a few days in your amazing abode.

Perfect New Year Escape. The Clunie Dam lodge provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable New Year celebration with family. We loved the cozy atmosphere, especially the log burner. The location was ideal for exploring the Scottish countryside. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.

It was such a treat to stay at the Old Stables. The house is beautiful and clearly been refurbished to a high standard. We loved the cinema room, and enjoyed walks with our two chihuahuas locally. There are lovely cafes within walking distance. The host is really helpful and responsive to the questions we had during our stay. We loved the place and would recommend 🙂
