Really peaceful and cosy place to stay. Lovely walks and great for trips to Frome, Bath etc. Had a great stay and really enjoyed the accommodation.

We stayed with our family here, on arrival the apartment was clean and welcoming and Carl went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The location is a short walk from the beach, a 5 min drive to Christchurch and in walking distance of Highcliff Castle. Although the apartment is part of the main house it has a separate entrance so you have lots of privacy. We would stay here again!

Had the most loveliest time and will definitely be coming back! The place was clean and very cosy, perfect location with plenty of privacy. The bed was super comfortable to sleep in and the fireplace was such a great addition to our stay. Spent half of the night in the hot tub which was so amazing to be in under the stars and had a nice welcoming gift which we really enjoyed 😊 our stay was spotless and we really look forward to coming back again!

The Captain's Retreat was really well presented, the accommodation was within walking distance to Lymington and it's an ideal based to explore the new forest. The host was really great, she gave lots of helpful advice and left us to enjoy our stay.

I couldn’t recommend the property enough. It was spotless and had everything we needed - and more. It was easy to find, a great location, great places to eat within easy walking distance, and so much on the doorstep to explore in the surrounding area. Thank you!

We only stayed one night as it was a stop off on our way to Cornwall but we were so gutted we didn’t book for longer. The cabin was beautiful and clean. The park was perfect for our two children. The views were amazing. We had everything we needed for our stay and appreciated the basics that were provided such as tea and coffee. The hot tub was lovely and warm and we were able to see the stars well in the evening. We requested a high chair which was ready on arrival and check in instructions were clear. We would definitely consider returning for a longer stay next time. Thank you so much :)

Joe’s place was full of useful amenities, Very peaceful area with lots to do walking distance from the properly. Joe was extremely friendly and helpful, also responding to any of our queries very quickly! Would stay again!

Had a lovely stay here. The house is ideally located, just a ten minute walk to the beach and town. There were four of us for a long weekend and plenty of room in the house for all of us and a great kitchen/living room which we used in the evenings. We didn’t need to contact Anne when we were there as everything was fine but she was very responsive when we booked and accommodated one extra person for us, after booking, at no charge, which was great..

A lovely quiet location 5 min walk to a beautiful quiet harbour beach and 5 mins drive to Hamworthy Beach. The beach hut is an amazing addition with all the extras inside ! The communication was top notch! The caravan was homely welcoming comfortable had everything and more you would need the games and books kept our three boys amused! Clean tidy and accommodating! Would defo come back and have recommended to friends and family. Thank you for a lovely weekend. The Davis Family :)
