Vacation rentals with breakfast in Herne Bay

We loved our stay at Jo"s place. Jo is so warm, and friendly, and made us feel very welcomed. The setting was idyllic, and private, with stunning views. We appreciated how comfortable, and cozy the accomodation was, and felt well taken care of. They were simply amazing hosts that went well above and beyond our wildest expectations!!! It is a lovely property and they are very attentive. Would definitely recommend this property to everyone that loves a nice & welcoming property and only steps from a beautiful beach.

Wow wow wow, what a place to find. From the moment we stepped though the door we felt at home. Tammee's home is absolutely spotless, with beautiful linen and furniture. She has provided everything you need and more, with so many thoughtful extras. Baby friendly, with the cot made up with sheets and a super soft baby towel provided. Tammee is a top host, with great communication, accommodative and friendly. We can't wait to visit again next year. Thank you so much for a 5+ star stay.

Great location, walkable to beach and restaurants. Nice living space opens out to covered deck and garden, would be very nice once pool renovation is complete. House is mostly cool with summer weather, note there is no central air conditioning. We did not need it during our stay. Minor improvements could be kitchen utensils update ie knives that are sharp, lids for pots etc, consider rubbish bins in bathrooms and shampoo/conditioners. Tissues in house. Hairdryer was missing however when informed, one was delivered to house within the hour. Very responsive hosts. Would stay with them again.

A perfect stay in Auckland. The property is in Castor Bay which is lovely and peaceful. There are lots of great restaurants nearby too. The property is very spacious, the amenities are modern and even has views of the sea from one of the bedrooms, living room/kitchen. Michaela and Andrew left milk, coffee pods, bread, eggs, jam and even Whittaker’s chocolate to have which was a lovely surprise!

We enjoyed our stay and found Peter & Nic’s place very comfy. We did a lot of walking in the neighborhood and found everything we needed close by. Our hosts were very responsive whenever we had questions. It’s a cool historic building!

We had a great week here...we did walk to town but maybe not for everyone Lovely views though

Arived early jitka let us bookin straight away no probs.Great location for ponsonby. downtown only 25min walk.great views .perfect for our whistle stop tour of Aukland .lots of little treats on arrival. ideal for two.

Our second stay in The Loft and as with our first visit the property was beautifully clean and well appointed. Generous breakfast provisions were very appreciated to save shopping when only there for 3 nights. In a perfect spot for us close to family, but also easy to commute to airport and downtown. Lovely bakery and fresh fruit shop within a few minutes walk. We would highly recommend staying at Louis and Wendy’s.

If you’re looking for somewhere super relaxing, clean, cozy and with lots of sunlight this is a great spot. Marg is a really lovely and helpful host too. Definitely would recommend. The New York pizza restaurant nearby is personal recommendation too!

This is better than renting a short term stay apartment. It is really cleaned in every detail. My daughter loved his host family and went to see them every day. Thank you so much. Felicity was a great host, very welcoming and wanting to help with anything you could need. Her home was very tidy, and felt like an oasis of calm. The room itself was spacious with a good sized private en-suite bathroom. I enjoyed my stay with Felicity.

Antoinette and Barry were amazing hosts. The breakfast was delicious, and a big thank you for the lift to and from the ferry. We had a great stay.

A handy spot for Devonport or Takapuna. Easy to find. Very small bedrooms up a flight of stairs from the small bathroom & toilet combined. Lovely kind hosts.

I needed a place to stay for the night in between flights and this was a solid option! Room was exactly as pictured, very clean, and had everything I needed. Host was very friendly and helpful as well. Thank you, Susantha!

Space is peaceful and clean, Deborah made me feel right at home.

Mani was a fantastic and extremely kind and accomodating host! Our flight was cancelled last minute at 9pm and Mani accepted our last minute booking and still made sure everything was homely and welcoming. We were given bottles of water and settled into the space and then given our privacy. Breakfast was set up in the morning and while we unfortunately didn’t have time to enjoy it, we appreciated the sentiment! The space was clean and tidy, and the beds were super comfy! Had everything we needed. We stayed on a Saturday night and there is a community centre next door and they were singing until 11.30pm at night, which we actually quite enjoyed, but early night sleepers who are sensitive to outside noises may want to be aware :)

Amazing hosts and an amazing place to stay. Gerry and Jeanette ensured our whole family felt very welcome. The breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were very friendly. They gave us a ton of local information and great tips on what to do and see.

This was an outstanding place to stay. Modern, clean, and super tastefully renovated space in a beautiful area of Auckland and within walking distance to cafes, restaurants, parks and shops. I would highly recommend. Judith and Gerard were the perfect hosts giving me privacy yet open, friendly and had great recommendations. Next time I come to Auckland I would definitely stay here. Thank you both so much.
