Recently modernised, the cottage has a super stylish open plan ground floor with kitchen, dining and living areas and wood burning stove. Upstairs there are two bedrooms: one has a double bed and sea view, the other can be made up either as a kingsize or as two single beds. Flexible space perfect for families or friends. A charming Cottage in the village of Mayfield. There is a wood burning stove for winter stays and a enclosed well stocked tranquil garden with outdoor seating. The cottage is detached and situated up a private drive with parking. It is secluded and quiet whilst being under 2 mins walk from a super village pub serving good food and local beers and 5 minutes walk to the centre of the village with all its lovely shops/cafes, delicatessen and famous gastro pub.

Under an hour from London, located on top of a hill, the cottage has magic views over surrounding fields. With footpaths from the door, the options for walks are endless - 3 castles & 7 pubs within an hours walk (the closest, is just 15 minutes walk across the field). The cottage itself is set in lovely gardens with plenty of outdoor spaces (including a fire pit) and inside I have used a lot of warm neutrals to create a relaxing cosy cottage
