Rose was a fantastic host. She went above and beyond to provide comfort for my military son, who was recovering from surgery. the place was exactly as advertised and very accommodating. Rose's hospitality was more than we could have asked for.

A great place to stay!

Our stay was exactly what we wanted it to be! It was private, in a great location and Chris was extremely responsive and accommodating. The property was very clean and accurately portrayed on the website. The furniture/bed was comfortable, internet was extremely fast which was great for my job. We also loved that we had covered parking for our vehicle and felt like the neighborhood was extremely safe. Got great rest and will definitely book again when I need it!

I had a nice stay and I would stay again

I stayed 10 days. The apartment was great. I really appreciated that all the TVs were signed into Netflix. The work desk was very comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. You are next to any tow truck place and across the street from a car repair. There was some noise first thing in the morning, but other than that I was able to go right back to sleep.

We stayed at Lilly’s place during the 7 weeks we were moving - her place had everything we needed to feel at home. If we had any questions or concerns, we messaged her and she answered right away. We never felt like we were missing anything or in need of anything during the entire stay. We are so thankful and so grateful for the hospitality. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay, and wonderful host. She was so kind to leave muffins, and plenty of coffee. Place was neat, clean and quiet. and a value priced. Perfect place for a single or a couple to stay.

I had many friends coming to town last weekend and needed places for them to stay. The red house has been there my whole life, and I didn’t know it had become an Air BnB. The family members who stayed there really enjoyed staying there. Thank you very much.

We loved our stay! Vicki was very responsive to my questions and have clear and complete directions for everything. The apartment was super clean, was decorated so nicely, and had everything we needed and more! I would definitely love to stay again and recommend the Highway Hideaway to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly responsive and very accommodating throughout our visit. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had a warm, welcoming feel. All the amenities were thoughtful and super useful, making the entire stay very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great experience! The hosts take care of their place. Make it very comfortable and easy. The place is right downtown and easy to get to all the downtown activities. We walked all weekend long except when we went to Dinosaur Valley. The one thing is it’s located on a main row so if you are alight sleeper the travelers might disturb your sleeping a little bit. We stayed Friday through Sunday and my husband said that Friday was a bit busy on the road. Other than that it is a fantastic spot and highly recommend. We are already planning our next trip and bringing the kids.

This was a great place to stay while we were in Gatesville. If/when we need another place we will definitely check here first.

This place was a fantastic getaway from the city. The area was peaceful, and the residents are very friendly. Loved that the place was walkable to the lake, and there was plenty of nearby trails as well. We forgot to bring a lot but the airbnb came with everything you could need. I was very impressed with how well stocked the place was. The hot tub of course was the cherry on top of it all. Rodney was so kind to allow my sister to visit as well. I mean really couldn’t have had a better experience, would highly recommend!

Beautiful place with all the amenities! Seriously one of the best listings we’ve stayed at. They thought of everything. The fridge was stocked with water and sodas and there were snacks available as well. The moment we walked in we felt right at home. The neighborhood is peaceful and full of greenery. We even took advantage of the hot tub, which was great. We would love to stay here again. Highly recommended!
