Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Halfmoon

Kimalie's Vermont house is an absolute treasure! Our family of four (with two teenagers) felt extremely comfortable in the home with plenty of space. The view is outstanding and we felt instantly relaxed and peaceful the minute we walked in. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need and Kimalie even left us some breakfast items. The beds are extremely comfortable and there are the coziest blankets around the entire house. We took Kimalie's restaurant suggestion and had a delicious dinner at Publyk House which was only about a 10 minute drive away. We highly recommend this beautiful getaway, it has everything you need!

Condo was in a great location and easy to get onto the slopes (5 second drive really) but also quiet and peaceful. Loved being able to use the wood fireplace since that is not always an option (they also had plenty of wood available). Beds were comfy with extra bedding/pillows available but we did not need it. Decor was homey and cozy but not too much to make it cluttered. Everything was very clean and kitchen had all the amenities you could possibly need. There was a gas grill on the back deck that we were able to use as well. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We were a group of 6 couples who spent a weekend at Kathleen's house. Everything was top-rate; 6 comfy bedrooms, a great open living area for talking and hanging out; a beautiful and well-equipped kitchen for group meals, and with a dining table large enough to accommodate all of us; a lovely neighborhood for walks, and a very short drive into downtown Saratoga Springs for walking, shopping and restaurants. Kathleen was immediately responsive to any questions we had, and communications in all other respects were great. I can't think of a single negative to say, and would return in a heartbeat (and hope to do so next year).

The house was nice, right on the lake and plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful sunrises over the mountains/lake. We liked the private master bedroom and bath. Communication with Jay and Stephanie was very easy and straight forward. They supplied plenty of info and suggestions. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Host is very responsive and he accurately put out just the information that we needed during our entire stay. The place was very cozy, well equipped and quite clean and worth the amount what we paid for. Would 100% recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Bluff House. We truly felt like we were staying at a home away from home. We especially loved spending time perusing the huge book and magazine collection. The art, glassware, and furnishings are really beautiful and unique….there were so many interesting pieces to look at. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all weekend. Very comfortable bed. Lovely fireplace. Very peaceful. Loved walking the grounds as well, plenty of little trails to explore and walking along the bluff was serene. No complaints! We hope to stay again! Our family had a wonderful time at Larissa’s farm. Our three kids loved working on the farm - learning, contributing, and being outside - and Larissa is just such a kind person who was super patient with the kids. The apartment was great, everything you need for a short stay, and was just what we were looking for, clean and well-kept. Larissa provides a ton of info about stores and restaurants and activities nearby, and we just had such a fantastic and relaxing time. Highly recommend!

beautiful and spacious apartment. We visit in February and the apartment was a little cold, but there are sufficient space heaters in the unit to keep you warm. Very convenient location but I wouldn't recommend walking alone on the neighborhood after dark. Brian is very responsive and always helpful.

We were in the area for an event, unfortunately didn't get to spend a lot of time there, but the time we spent was excellent. Our space was exactly like the pictures, so cute, comfortable and perfect for our needs. Our only concern was ice leading to the entryway, which they had salted but it still was a little slippery. But it is also winter! I look forward to returning when we can spend more time!

lots of fun. totally brought me back to my younger days when I used to play Pinball. love the decorations and the mirrors on the wall, and appreciated having a video game machine and some consoles there to play also. we even used the Roku TV deciding to our accounts to watch a little of shows we needed to catch up on. I used to have a man cave, and I only wished it could be as cool as this. highly recommend

The place was wonderful. Very charming and homey, spotless with all the amenities and conveniences you could need. The information included in Joe’s binder gave great recommendations for meals and attractions within easy driving distance. We had never traveled to that area before and found the local scenery beautiful. Thanks for a lovely experience!

This was the perfect little home base for a weekend in Saratoga Springs! Even in the ice and snow, it’s a lovely walk through the park to city center, and the kitchen had everything we needed to pull off the moveable feast we brought to fuel a weekend of dancing. I especially enjoyed having coffee by the fireplace! Thank you Monica, the space was just the home away from home I wanted ❤️

Cannot recommend Michelle and Greg‘s place enough! If you’re visiting the area, this is an excellent place to stay… very walkable neighborhood. It’s close to many restaurants and shops. The home was clean and very comfortable. The bed in the main bedroom was one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in! I thought parking was going to be an issue since it’s only street parking however we were always able to find a spot. If I’m ever back in Troy, I will definitely stay here again.
