Waterfront vacation rentals in Hainaut

We had a great weekend with my family at an unconventional place to stay. Mainly our daughter (5) was absolutely thrilled with the boat. The place was nice peace and quiet, yet city services within walking distance. And the town of Thuin itself was also very pleasantly surprised by how picturesque it is and what tourist attractions it has to offer.

Both I and my love needed peace and quiet and so I had captured this as a surprise for my love. Based on the description and photos, this seemed like an ideal location. The prior communication with Ann went very smoothly and shortly before the stay I received very clear information about house rules, practical matters and what to do in the area. Very convenient. Upon arrival, a very friendly greeting and perfect explanation of the fireplace, hot tub, kitchen and so on. It was super cozy as in the pictures and everything was very nice and present as described. When I sent a message the next day that we still needed wood, Ann was there within 5 minutes with the requested. Speaking of a hostess. In short, it's a top location for people who want to relax. We had 2 children with us aged 2. You can do that with the stairs. You can close the downstairs so it is safe.

The house was perfectly clean and equipped with all the necessary equipment for a comfortable stay. We celebrated the New Year here. The wood burner, in particular, brought warmth and a very cozy atmosphere, ideal for total disconnection. This beautiful place played an important role in a very special moment for me: this is where I was asked to marry. This moment would not have been so magical without the unique atmosphere of this place. We'll be back, for sure, and probably more than once! I also want to thank Elsa and her partner for their incredible responsiveness and kindness. At the end of our stay we had a problem with the battery of our car, and they came to help us without hesitation, when they absolutely didn't have to. It was perfect for us. A nice and cosy house and the swimming pond was super cool for the kids. Very quiet location. We were also very well received.

Everything is great! The only negative aspect is the bad smell from the drain in the shower.
