Picton Bay Hideaway is a family owned and operated licensed waterfront bungalow with 2 bedrooms and a walk out basement that can comfortably sleep up to 4 adults plus 2 children. This getaway is ideal for those wanting to slow down, relax and spend quality time with loved ones or for those who are looking for a quiet and peaceful workspace retreat. Whether you are a wine, food, fishing, or a beach goer, there is something for everyone in Prince Edward County (PEC)!

The space
Our relaxing main level deck provides the perfect space where you can lounge and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or a glass of Prince Edward County wine. Take in stunning panoramic views of the lake, or star gaze on romantic nights. On rainy days, guests can still enjoy the outdoors by dining on our covered patio as the sun sets against an incredible backdrop. So if you are looking for a place to rest, relax, rejuvenate, or to find a peaceful setting where you can work, our hideaway is the right spot for you!

Guest access
Guests will have access to both levels of the home, which includes the finished walkout basement. To ensure your safety and to verify the check-in/check-out of our visitors, a security camera is placed by the front door where the Smart Lock is used to gain entry into the cottage. We reserve the right to monitor our property for such purposes.

Additional Fees and Taxes (License #ST-2021-0168):
The County of Prince Edward implemented a Municipal Accommodation Tax on February 21st, 2021. This mandatory MAT is levied on visitors staying at any PEC accommodation and will automatically be added and included in your total when you book your stay (4%).

Our humble abode is just 7 minutes drive from Downtown Picton, 1 minute from the Glenora Ferry, 3 minutes from Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park and 20 minutes from the Caribbean-esque beaches of Sandbanks Provincial Park.
