what a sublime place. it was perfect. the location is outstanding, the people are great. the views are incredible. our time here was the icing on the cake for our portugal trip. we would hope to come back.

Superb apartment, convenient kitchen and with all the necessities, incredible terrace pity we were not able to enjoy it because of bad weather. Marli was a super host, responsive and warm.

We had a wonderful stay in Helga's apartment. The view over the Douro and the vineyards is exceptionally beautiful, the neighborhood in the village friendly, it is quite quiet there. Good shopping is available in the neighboring village, exploring the wine region is an experience. The communication with the host was straightforward, friendly and reliable. We would have liked to have stayed longer.

This wonderful apartment is absolutely cozy and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped, the garden is beautiful and there is wood for the fireplace. The heated bed is a giant plus, and it's extremely comfortable. Thank you so much, we loved our stay!

This is a wonderful place. A beautifully renovated apartment in an old building and nicely maintained and private with everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. Jose was very responsive to our questions and showed us how to work the AC and appliances. When a pot light burned out, he was there immediately with a solution. The location of this apartment is right in town, with street parking close by and an easy walk to the shops. The grocery store is a few minutes drive. Also a half hour walk to the Archeology museum of Foz Coa and a hike down to the Douro river. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

A repeat experience! I was previously contacted if we learned the time of entry to the house and when we arrived home there was a super cozy temperature in every division. Linda made a point of leaving a basket of products from the area that were wonderful. The super-equipped kitchen, like everything needed for a stay and family and friends. The whole dwelling was well taken care of, clean and with various details that made us feel at home.

This was an incredibly scenic spot to see the Douro Valley. We loved it.

We celebrated New Year’s Eve at Jose’s house. Our stay was wonderful! We asked Jose to have a tree and some decorations, and the house was decorated with the beautiful Christmas tree, candles and fresh green tree branches. There were a lot of kitchen supplies. Everything to cook and eat in a big company. Although it was cold in the kitchen, we used the fireplace. All the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. We also enjoyed eating tasty oranges and mandarins. In addition, Jose and Sergio greeted us with the table full of snacks and 2 bottles of their own wine. Great time in the peaceful location! We would like to come back in summer.

Soraya was a great host, she let us arrive late for check in, which allowed us to have dinner with some friends. The house corresponds to the photographs, as if we were in our grandparents' house! The heating was on for us to be comfortable as it was very cold at the end of December. I forgot to take a hairdryer and soon lent me one for the entire stay! The house is in a very quiet area! Family friendly!

It was remarkable the care and attention with which we were treated, which made us feel at home from the very first moment.
