Beachfront vacation rentals in Guanacaste Province

This is our fourth trip to La Casita by Lina!! we fell in love the very first time and have no reason to be anywhere else. It’s quiet, steps away from an amazing beach, and we enjoy the beautiful sunsets. There are two fabulous restaurants within a one to two minute walk. They have happy hour and great music (which is always done before 10 PM). You can take boat trips, snorkel, and rent jet skis through nearby businesses. Karol does housekeeping several times during the week and upon request did a small load of laundry for us. We do rent a car so it’s a quick trip into Coco Beach for anything and everything we could imagine including a gym. Lina is very accommodating and we can always do luggage drop off if it’s earlier than the 3 PM check-in. The space is absolutely perfect for us to completely unplug from work and our usual day-to-day busyness!!!! we are already looking at next year’s calendar. Thank you again, Lina, for another wonderful stay.

Great amenities. Dirk was extremely responsive and gave great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The beach is directly across the street. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a market to grab last minute/forgotten items. Don't miss Cafe Mar Azul, the food is fantastic and inexpensive. There's a surf shack next door where you can rent surf boards and book excursions. Very safe area. The house was very roomy, clean, and comfortable. We'd book this location again if we vacation in Costa Rica again in a heartbeat.

Such a beautiful oasis steps from the beach!If you are lucky, you can hear and see howler monkeys in the trees!!! It was the perfect blend of comfort and rugged while giving the jungle vibe we were looking for!

Incredible “home away from home”, right on beautiful Playa Hermosa. If you are looking for a rustic, clean, beautiful and safe place to enjoy the sound of the ocean and the incredibly easy beach access, this is it. It is not fancy, so please do not go expecting a North American hotel suite!! However, it was PERFECT for us. We were initially wondering if we would miss having an indoor living room like we do at home, but we completely enjoyed the Costa Rican way of gathering on the porch for pretty much everything except cooking, showering or sleeping! What fun to watch the village resident clan of howler monkeys when they visited (they could be noisy in the morning on days they were in our trees…very entertaining!!), as well as many iguanas of various sizes. The property is gated and locked with access only to current residents and the lovely host family, including their sweet dog, Favé. We felt absolutely safe and comfortable, and were very thankful for this incredible experience!

These guys did a great job, great location and proactive on the communication. Found the place no problem, had assistance checking in. Parking was on the street which can be sparse, but the location is right on the beach in the middle of everything. Felt safe. I stayed here with my sister, but feel like this is great value especially if you had 4 people. Gracias.

Caroline is very responsive and friendly. The cabina is easily accessible and Caroline leaves you be to enjoy your stay. If you need her, she is there. It’s a very nice accommodation.

We very much enjoyed our 5 nights here. Although Floribeth was away so we did not get to meet her, she always responded quickly and helpfully. The ground floor apartment is in a safe area atop a steep hill with a gorgeous view of the water and spectacular sunsets. The pool is lovely. We did not do much cooking, but found the kitchen generally well equipped. The beds are comfortable. Cleaning supplies are plentiful, but you do need to have all your own toiletries, including shower soap and shampoo. We were also glad we brought our own beach towels. I would definitely recommend Floribeth’s place.

I could live there! What a wonderful home and especially the back yard. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool, grill and outside seating/dining area. The home was very clean and we had plenty of room for 4 adults. The community was clean and we felt very safe. There was a restaurant within the community, and they had a few beach chairs available. The beach was clean, but the waves were pretty rough so we spent more time in the pool which was delightful. There is also a small grocery store within the gates as well. You really don't need to leave if you don't want to. Elizabeth was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this property for a relaxing visit to Costa Rica.

This place was fantastic. My last trip to Nosara I paid more for a hotel room and it was so inferior. The location is fantastic. The apartment with the private pool is really romantic. Super close to the break and fun part of town but also private and safe. This is my spot from now on.

It was everything promised and more. The house and grounds were absolutely beautiful, exactly as advertised, and very well stocked. We had 7 adults but could easily have had more very comfortably. Read the guest manual! It contains so much excellent information. We took several of the suggestions and had excellence service and experiences from all of them. Ramona was so helpful and quick to respond to all our queries. The community is quiet and friendly. Not a party place. The beach is lovely and the water was warm. We did several day trips to nearly-by attractions and never ran out of fun. I will be recommending to all friends and family. I can't think of a better location for a family holiday. Five stars to every aspect this property!

Great stay, the beach is fantastic and just across the road. the house was good and featured for outside, pool was very clean. only advice bring groceries and lots of mosquito repellent before coming down :)

We loved staying Aaron’s home, it felt like an oasis with a beautiful garden and private pool. It was only a few minutes walk to Playa Guiones, with walkable distance to surf board rentals, cafes and delicious restaurants. The home was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and lots of storage. We felt welcomed and well taken care of at every turn, muchas gracias Aaron!

We just finished up a great stay- the view and the pool make this place 100% worth the stay. Douglas was very responsive and even installed a railing for the steps as my mom had trouble going up and down and the staircase didn’t have one. Very helpful with my questions and advice prior to arriving. The house is hard to find in the dark on the rural roads. More clear directions like look for the white car port might be helpful for future guests.

Mary was prompt and helpful and gave great restaurant suggestions!! The home was gorgeous and exactly as pictured. We would definitely recommend this gorgeous home!! Best vacation ever. Thank you so much!!

Karen’s place was fantastic! Five of us stayed for 10 days very comfortably! The view was breathtaking! We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi everyday! Very well equipped for cooking at home. Beach towels, chairs, and umbrella are provided. The unit is pretty high up with very steep roads so not good for walking. The resort transportation was great and never had to wait very long. We had a fairly large vehicle and never had a problem with parking in the designated area. There is a cat that hangs around the unit and sometimes his mom pops by. We named him Rico and fed him while we were there and left a bag of cat food in hopes the next tenants would continue to feed him. Not sure if this is frowned upon but the poor cat was really hungry! When we first arrived at the condo, the air conditioning was not working in the master bedroom. I called our contact and he responded immediately!! Somebody was at the condo and the air conditioning was fixed in less than hour!!

Loved the house and location. Extremely well-equipped kitchen and some refreshments waiting for us in the fridge. RCV arranged a guided tour for us at Rincon de la Vieja National Park for one day (including lunch, zip-lining, and the hot springs & mud baths) that was a lot of fun. Had dinner the first night at Father Rooster's on Ocotal Beach just down the hill from the house. We did a little cooking and used the bbq grill for a couple meals. There were a couple small problems: water was not turned on for one of the showers downstairs, the gas was not turned on for the stove (just had to open the valve on the propane tank on the other side of the wall from the stove), the A/C would trip off in the second bedroom upstairs, and the dishwasher wouldn't operate. RCV sent people promptly to address the issues, but unfortunately the dishwasher needed a new control board and couldn't be fixed during our stay. We would definitely stay in this house again.

We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again. The house is in the perfect location- a short walk to town and just steps from the beach. We also all fell in love with Missy. She is the sweetest dog. The owners are very responsive to any questions. They met us there to check in and even messaged me with restaurant and grocery store recommendations.

The view, the beach, and the pool make this place worth it. Beautiful property and lovely home. Douglas was a great host. The road into the place was fine with our Rav4. This place was our favorite Airbnb in Costa Rica that we stayed at! Well worth the drive to this place. There are a few restaurants not too far. I recommend doing a grocery run before heading to the Airbnb, only small grocery stores close by.

Our family loved the location of Casa Circa Del Mar, it is wonderful being so close to the beach and not having to drive all the time . We also enjoyed the pool so much and had many wonderful meals outside on the Veranda . The house was amazing with so much space and has everything you need. The Host was very kind and always available and responsive. We were celebrating an 80th Birthday and she had decorations and candles for us which was very sweet.

It's a beautiful location and lovely house! Our family of 8 had the greatest time stepping right into the waves from the yard, hiking up to the black sand beach, watching sunsets from the hammocks and rocking chairs, eating at nearby Hotel Las Tortugas and Taco Star. We highly recommend the estuary tour with Jonathan that we met at Las Tortugas, by the way- saw crocs, howlers, all manner of birds! And we absolutely loved Kimberly and Kenneth and all the night watchmen at the house! They were all so kind and helpful! Kenneth let me take Morena, the house dog, for a sunset walk (we loved her) AND he showed us the howler monkeys nearby. Kimberly took great care of us without being intrusive at all. We had many questions and she was very patient with us. We hope to come stay with them again one day. This stay wasn't nearly long enough!

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Convenient location, with private parking and all the amenities anyone could need! We would stay here again and I would highly recommend to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Pipa! The home was exactly as advertised. Iris was so easy to work with; helped with dinner reservations. Excellent guide/resource book emailed prior to arrival. Manfred the local house manager was so nice to work with, orient us to the home, and make us feel welcome immediately. We enjoyed Manfred's homemade pastries; so delicious! The home is very clean and comfortable. We found the beds and pillows very comfortable. So private and the private beach access was just magical! Was so nice to go through the gate, walk a beautiful little forest path, to find the amazing beach and Pacific ocean!!! Any questions; answered immediately. Just a total chill place for ultimate relaxation while being able to walk the neighborhood and enjoy the lovely small restaurants and market. We didn't rent a car and didn't feel the need for one. Our driver brought us to the supermarket before our arrival so we had everything we needed; the home, pool, beach!! Thank you!!!

Our stay at Jarrod’s place was incredible! Best vacation house you could ask for. Perfect location right on the beach but still super private. Having a swimming pool right on the ocean is about as good as it gets, we usually spend most of our vacation time at the beach but this house was so great we wound up spending more time by the pool. Also the house is stocked very well, everything an Airbnb/rental house should have this house has. Jarrod was very accommodating and helped us with transportation and Covid testing at the house. I highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Playa Negra area! We will definitely be coming back!

Jeff and Gina's place met all of our expectations. The house itself is beautiful, and very well done. The kitchen was well stocked, and we prepared several meals there. We spent a good deal of time in the pool area, and were treated to monkeys on several mornings. We mostly went to Tamarindo beach, but Langosta beach is also close, and we visited it a few times. The membership at Langosta Beach Club is a great plus, and some of our party spent a good deal of time there. We made the walk into the central part of Tamarindo almost every day. It took us around 20 minutes. There is a nice sidewalk the entire way, so it is an easy walk. We had a couple of small issues while there, and Jeff and Gina, along with their local guy (Justin) were very responsive.
