Vacation rentals in Großer Schachtsee

We had a very nice stay at this historic house. We've wanted to spend a weekend here for a long time, and staying in such an old building was a special experience. The house is cozily furnished, and especially the fireplace was our highlight – its warmth and the crackling of the fire made the evenings special. The hosts were very friendly and gave us valuable tips for excursions in the area. A great place for history lovers – highly recommended!

The accommodation was really great! We met for a reading weekend and it was really the perfect apartment for it. Quiet and cozy! Also the area was really nice if you wanted to explore the area. There was also a supermarket nearby and great restaurants. We were also very impressed by the Asian - very tasty! The communication with Vincent went really well too! Thanks again for a great weekend with friends.

We spent three days/two nights in Joanna's beautiful apartment. The location between Halberstadt and Quedlinburg was ideal for us to explore these two cities. The apartment was great and fully equipped, clean, very tidy and we didn't lack anything. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, internet, TV, parking ... everything is great. We had a great time there with our dog and 2 friends. The accommodation has been furnished and developed with a lot of love for detail and thoughtfully. We loved it. We especially enjoyed the sauna and whirlpool. Our dog also loved it there, e.g. the walks on the Elbe and through the village. The grounds were also great for exploring and sniffing. 😁 Thank you so much for allowing us to spend our time here!! ☺️

We had a wonderful time. The location is perfect for many things to do on foot. Whether the old town, shopping or forest and meadow running and hiking can be reached quickly and easily. The apartment has everything you need and the view is mega, especially in the evening. We felt like at home, a vacation can't be better. We'll be back😀.

We fell in love with this beautiful place right from the start! The cottage is very quiet and was extremely clean. In the evening we sat comfortably in front of the fireplace and in the morning we could enjoy delicious cappuccino from the coffee machine. On the actual departure day, we spontaneously decided to stay one night longer - everything is great!!!

We felt completely comfortable and were able to enjoy the bright March sun on the terrace. We are happy to recommend the place.

The mill is a nice place, very quiet and cozy. We only stayed there for two nights, the area is pleasantly secluded and yet a good starting point for trips to the Harz Mountains. Lena is a very nice hostess, always trying to make our stay as possible.

We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend in the cottage as a group of four. Everything that was needed was available and we felt very comfortable. A late checkout was also possible without any problems and was immediately confirmed. I'd love to come back for the next Harz trip 😍
