The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. This is a wonderful place! Me and my wife spent a week in the beautiful and extremely well equipped house and couldn’t have wished for a better way to escape off the grid and the grind of our city life. Also our host Patrik went out of his way to help us as much as possible! The house is beautiful, spacious and we will definitely be back! Five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

We had a great time in the cabin - both it and the surroundings were cozy and beautiful 😊 With two toddlers it was nice that there was a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer! Christine was very friendly and thoughtful and let us borrow both toys and baby nest. Highly recommended!

We had a very cozy autumn weekend at the house. Lovely with the cozy cottage and being able to burn in the wood stove. The house really meets expectations and is in good condition. The closeness to the lake and the opportunity to fish we really appreciated.

We had a fantastic weekend in Humletorp. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we wanted. The accommodation was clean and fresh, Grace was a communicative, helpful and professional host, who had also fixed a nice welcome basket upon arrival. Can recommend the place to anyone!

We had some delicious days on the Swedish coast. Despite not too nice weather, there was a nice area to walk in and several options for frequent air trips with the dog. Was also possible to have him walking outside the living room. The house was nice and welcoming and had everything we needed. Convenient with very short distance to a grocery store with good selection, better than expected. And short drive to other towns, and a small trip to Gothenburg. The house met expectations and we were able to lower our shoulders here during the holidays :)

What an incredible view, the costal scenery is amazing. A very comfortable house, well equipped and very modern. Ann-Catrin is a very attentive host, we had a wonderful stay and would return.
