Great location, close to the golden circle. We were able to see the northern lights right at backyard. The two cats are cute and friendly. Sigmar was very responsive!

Tolli was a phenomenal host. We had no intrusions during our stay with a great ambiance, and great amenities. Knowing this Airbnb was hand built by the owner also makes it just that much more special

We loved our stay at Arni's place. It was exactly as described, and communicating with Arni was very easy. The place was super clean and well stocked. The cabins are in a stunning location, and since we were exploring the South of Iceland, this place was perfect for us.

Great place to stay. We were allowed to check in earlier and were able to get into the house as early as 12pm. You can conveniently park your car near the house.

Beautiful, comfortable home in a remote area but only 10 mins from Selfoss. Easy access to National parks, and lake a short walk away. We stayed during a storm with blizzards, but home was still accessible and very warm.

This house was great for our family of five who wanted to relax and see some of the sites of the Golden Circle. It is centrally located close to the national park, we were able to see the geyser and get to several Hot Spring as well. The hot tub was especially nice and we look forward to returning soon.

this was great accommodation. had everything you need if you want to cook and chill out at the house on a rainy day. great location overall would highly recommend great value for money. there were 4 of us and it worked perfectly for what we needed and was lovely and warm after a long day of exploring

Helga's house was very cozy like home. I saw Aurora in the house all night!! I recommend 100%. Paper towels and vinyl are also equipped like a real person's house, so I used them well! This is a great place to stay!

It was frankly great! A little super well-equipped cocoon in which we were delighted to go home to rest!

For those who want more than one day to explore the Golden Circle, this is a great location. It is close to the main attractions, is easy to find, and is within walking distance to the several restaurants in the immediate area. It is very quiet. However, it appears the secret is out because several additional units are being finished/not at all a noise issue; just a fact. This spot is really best used for a couple. You could put one small child on the pull out couch, but that may not be optimal. I probably would not book for four people. The hosts are excellent communicators and we appreciated their responsiveness. If I had to nitpick, the bed was a little firm for my preference. Also, if you are planning to eat in, I would stock up on groceries before you arrive because the local market is serviceable but limited and quite pricey. Overall, we had a nice stay in this spot. Easy to recommend for two, but I’d think hard before picking this for a family of four.

The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything needed. Shower Soap and shampoo were not offered. The living room area had 2 beds instead of a sitting area, however the kitchen table and chairs were fine to sit at.

We chose to stay in Laugarvatn for 2 nights and we're so glad we did. The town of Selfoss nearby had plenty to do, see, and eat. The home here was super homey, clean, and perfect for our group of 6. It's across the street from a natural hot spring and cafe/coffee shop. Our crew loved spending one of our mornings there! The drive into the town was spectacular. It's a great gateway into the Highlands, as well! Would highly recommend this stay! The host was excellent!

Esra’s place was great and we would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. It’s set in an apartment building that’s in close proximity to a food store, gas station, a food hall and a visitor’s center. It had all the amenities we needed to cook our meals and wash our clothes. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The town was situated in a good spot, not far from Selfoss and several natural attractions. The only con was the presence of a daycare next door with several loud children, sometimes into the evening hours. But this wouldn’t be a deterrent from us staying there again. We really enjoyed Esra’s apartment and the town.
