Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Grimes County

This rental was absolutely beautiful and the perfect spot for me and my family and dogs. I got married 8 minutes down the road at Camp Hosea and when my previous air bnb canceled only 3 weeks prior Valerie was immediately responsive and ready to take us in. What seemed like a stressful situation at first finding an Airbnb so last minute turned into a blessing in disguise. The stay could not have gone better and was amazing! ❤️

The stay at Brandy’s ranch was perfect. 2 couples, in for a weekend at A&M. The space was perfect to relax and enjoy the peace of the country atmosphere. The layout and amenities are all very nice. Great kitchen with everything required to cook and eat in, a wonderful sitting area and comfortable beds and bedrooms. The bathrooms are luxurious and all the linens and bedding were high quality, clean and ready for us. Everything was perfect to include the passing by of the cattle and horses and the evenings seeing deer around the ranch. We were able to take the short drive back to A&M and spend the morning at the Bush Library and have lunch before a rest at the ranch and heading back to the game in the evening. We highly recommend staying here and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and Brandy’s restful and lovely ranch house. Perfect for a group, family or friends.

One of the cutest and most comfortable cottages I've ever stayed at. Owners were very accommodating and did such a great job renovating and decorating this older home! An awesome mix of both vintage and modern...would definitely stay here again!!

Great place to stay! Close to everything we needed. Nice open floor plan. Pet friendly was a plus since we travel with our dogs. Overall the place was great stocked with all the essentials if needed. Nice neighborhood, hope to be back next year!

We enjoyed a few peaceful nights at the Hidden Gem, taking in the stars, playing Scrabble, watching the light move through the trees, and listening to the quiet. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen was large and well laid out. (We appreciated the fresh eggs, honey, and herbs too!) The library, including a magazine with an article about the founding and history of Peaceable Kingdom, was a nice refuge for reading. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who needs a retreat.

The place is huge and has many bedrooms. The living room, which is very old-fashioned yet very comfortable and livable, was very comfortable. Two beds are on the first floor, and two are on the second. There are three bathrooms. The one upstairs is very unique but works well. It's perfect for family and college kids as well. It is located near the downtown area.

The house is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked and great for cooking. Most of all Kathy has been great and patient with us throughout our entire stay. We appreciate all her help.
