We had a wonderful time. Ruth was very helpful and responded quickly. The farm house and surroundings were beautiful. Deer can to visit us almost everyday. There was plenty of parking and location is close to town, but still peaceful and private. Love everything about the farm. Would come again. Sharon & Jerry

If you love nature, this seems like it's going to be a great spot for a family or a couple. Fortunately, we didn't have as much time as I wanted to be able to explore since we were there to visit our grandson. But I definitely want to eventually come back and visit eighteen miles worth of hiking trails. Also, if you love nature, you're more than likely going to be greeted with seeing some deer grazing in the field when you first get there. The host, Pam and Gary, are great people. And even though they do stay right across the road, it is still extremely quiet and very private. Now if you do have AT&T as your cell phone provider, you will not have signal, but they do have good wifi, so you you're not disconnected completely from the outside world.

We spent a long holiday weekend at Mark’s cozy WV cabin. Situated atop a hill deep in the WV wilderness, the cabin was the perfect get-away spot to relax and unplug. During our stay we explored the surrounding area, cooked meals in the modern kitchen, and generally forgot about the world for a few days while we soaked in the heat of the wood stove. Mark was responsive and gave us great instructions to find the cabin. Can’t recommend this listing enough; if it’s available, don’t pass it up!

Exactly as described. Went to ski at Snowshoe and the house was a nice resting spot while there. Kitchen was well stocked, and the house was very clean! Marlinton is a cute town, house is private yet close to all shops and restaurants. Would come back!

Absolutely stunning place, the Mountain View was breathtaking! Wanted a peaceful environment with a homey feel and this Airbnb was perfect for it. Would definitely like to come back!

This was our fourth trip to Marcie’s property and it continues to be our favorite Airbnb we’ve stayed at. The surroundings are gorgeous and the house is so cozy and relaxing. The weather wasn’t very cooperative this trip, but not a problem! We spent the days playing pool, playing games in front of the fireplace, reading and watching 4 Nations hockey on the Roku. Total relaxation!! And you couldn’t ask for a better host than Marcie. Responsive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything you might need. We can’t wait to go back!

This place was perfect for our weekend stay. We came to do some snowboarding at nearby Snowshoe and this location was ideal. The Cabin was very clean and tidy. It had everything you need. Heather had the place well stocked yet free of any clutter. It was warm, cozy and comfortable with good TV and strong wifi. We enjoyed our peace and quiet in the little town of Marlinton. It's a unique town that takes you away from the hustle and bustle. We visited the hot springs about a 50 min drive away in Warm Springs, VA. and also ventured over the mountain for snowboarding at Snowshoe. Heather was a great host and very communicative! We appreciate the hospitality!
