Beachfront vacation rentals in Green Island

As an American who has only visited the West Coast of Taiwan previously, this place gave me a new insight into how relaxed and island-like Taiwan can be. My wife and I stayed here on a short trip to the East Coast while visiting family on the West Coast. In short, this place is amazing and was by far the best place we stayed on our journey. We had initially booked one of the tube-style rooms above the main building; the owner, Sean, offered to upgrade to one of the glamping-style accommodations in the adjacent lot, which we took him up on. When we wanted to relax, the deck with the included hammock provided plenty of options for lounging about, with only the sound of the waves crashing nearby and the faint glow of fireflies flying around in the evening. When we felt like socializing, the bar/café at the main facility was full of lively characters, good drinks, and lots of great stories to go around. Clean, good location, close to hot spots

Unfortunately, we only stayed at the property for one day but we felt very much at home. The price is really great for such a good location. Very close to the night market and central in the city. Unfortunately, the walls are thin, so you can hear the next room talking. For a few days but totally fine for the price. We enjoyed it very much. We would book the place again.

Must rent a motorbike to come to Green Island.There are a lot of tiny ants on the table and it is not recommended to bring sweets back to the room to eat.

I would not hesitate to book a room again at GT大叔民宿! The room we stayed in was newly remodeled and it was such an honor to be the first to stay in it. It was extremely clean and was a good value. As another traveler mentioned, I don't think we got the room we RSVPed for; however, we were still extremely happy with our stay. Upon arriving at the ferry, there was someone already there waiting to pick us up and take us to the Airbnb. Moreover, they provided recommendations for many different excursions such as scuba diving, snorkeling, AYCE BBQ, hot springs, and so much more! They also helped us rent a scooter efficiently. My friend and I encountered several somewhat "emergency" situations during our stay at Green Island (none of which were related to the Airbnb itself). Despite this, the Airbnb hosts took such good care of us and were more than happy to help us resolve all of our issues quickly. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone interested in having a stress-free and comfortable stay in Green Island!

The host is very kind, because the late check-in also extends the check-out time, the room is clean and comfortable, the sea view is great👍, and there is also KTV singing to the fullest, offering breakfast vouchers to enjoy a brunch at the next Yumi cafe brunch and have a wonderful vacation.

Quiet, family-oriented feel with help with all things Green Island travel. The scenery is beautiful. We’re a family of four and greatly enjoyed this corner of paradise for a week and could have stayed longer. Host is top notch and speaks English.

The boss is great!Still running the clock across the road for a second and it was convenient!The room is very clean ~ The cotton is swelled, and it feels like you have sun ~ It is very comfortable to blow the sea breeze outside the door to see the stars and enjoy the tranquility and comfort!

This is a place of more natural beauty - meaning it will have some creepy crawlies(catepillars, spiders, etc) in and around the room. If a few natural bugs here or there don't bother you, then this place will give you a unique private area very close to the swimming beach. the entire building itself is really beautiful and quirky. lots of love and care went into the groundskeeping and plant life.

I took the bus from the train station and it’s a 5 minute walk and was greeted and given a tour of the property. Sean and the guests there are all welcoming and is truly an experience to stay here and share space. You can see the harbor in the morning and walk down to the beach with a coffee/brekfast. I went to Dulan for surfing in the afternoon a 4 min car ride. The living space has plenty of outlets and wifi for such an outdoorsy place. The mini fridge is convenient and having a private bathroom which was very clean. AC is strong for the small capsule and had no issues with mosquitoes. We kareoked and had food on the porch. It was so nice. I will definitely be back to spend more than one night.

There are bathrooms on the first and second floors, there is also a large bathtub on the first floor, the balcony on the second floor is great, and the rocking chair is great, you can see the sunrise early in the morning, the weather is good at night and you can see the stars. It is a pity that the path to the beach is at the end of the beach. However, you can take a walk from the side of the camping area to the beach. The host is very good, the local fruit also prepared us with good coffee beans, I am satisfied with this stay.

Your service is very nice!Clean, quiet and comfortable

Having been a business owner in the financial services to high end clients my standards are fairly high. I can honestly say I was blown away by Chihying’s level of professional service. She told me to cancel the hire car, picked me up from the train station, drove me around and honestly if it was not for this supreme host I would have not won the challenge Taiwan in my age group. I had a bike issue and Chihying spent 2 hours with me at the giant bike shop. What sort of guest does this. Out of this world and on race day she drove me at 6am to the start line. The home made me very comfortable to relax before the race. I cannot say enough. I often don’t write reviews but feel that this was world class hosting.
