Windmill vacation rentals in Greece

We loved The Windmill! It is so characterful and charming. The pictures are accurate and it is a spacious and truly delightful apartment. The view over Stavros and the sea is stunning. Our host was generally around (their house is next door) and very attentive and helpful. She met us at the port and transferred us back again at the end. We loved the walk into Stavros and back - especially in the evening with all the stars. It is downhill all the way and therefore uphill to return - but a fairly gentle climb. Maybe 10-15 mins. We were staying in October and it was windy. I suspect the wind is very welcome in the heat of summer but it felt cold and difficult to get away from up at the Windmill (of course it gets the wind!!). Our host kindly let us use her garden for sitting where it was more sheltered. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

The beautiful windmill is located right in the heart of the old town, 5 mins drive from the other island’s center; the port. The booking is matching the description and indeed the bathroom is tiny/uncomfortable, but personally found it cute. Alternatively, you may have a shower outdoors though. The windmill has a great view of the sea, visible from the balcony or even your bed. Parking spot available, air conditioning/noise mentioned in other reviews was not an issue during our stay. Even though we did not meet the host, Dimitris was always available and more than willing to assist with all our queries promptly. Overall, if you are looking for an experience, then definitely recommendable. (p.s. ensure to have water bottles and shower gel with you, as they are not offered).

Perfect holiday thanks to topos exclusive, perfect luxury yet peaceful location. Our host went the extra mile to arrange our taxi services, take aways and fabulous excursions including a private yacht charter and horse-riding on the beach. Every aspect of our stay was AMAZING and we will definitely be back, highly recommend to anyone

3 nights in paradise. Dina was the consummate host and we felt privileged to enjoy this special place. The windmill was idyllic and peaceful, and the small village below perfect for beach and dinners. If you’re reading this review and considering staying here, don’t think any further, book now!!! Thank you to Dina for leaving us beautiful fruits, veggies, water and other necessities- it was very thoughtful and appreciated. We loved every second of our stay in this perfectly appointed accommodation. We hope to return again and make more magical memories!

This was an extremely special stay. The windmill and location is breathtaking, the food at the restaurant is fantastic, the access to explore the blue caves via the steps straight down to the water is unbelievable, but most of the all the Potimitis family who run this establishment showed us welcome and hospitality like we've never seen before. This is a magical place to stay, but the people make it truly unforgettable. Thank-you so much for having us, we will be back.

I had such a nice experience at the Windmill! It is really well designed and very unique. The hot tub was great and I liked having the outdoor terrace space. The property is just a short walk from the main street in Oia. The manager, Jason, is excellent! He was very attentive and helped me with any questions I had. The provided breakfast was also very good. Also, I didn’t experience any tremors from earthquakes.

A beautiful location - peaceful and with wonderful views. A stunning windmill rennovation, with a delightful terrace overlooking the sea. Spotlessly clean. Aris was helpful and friendly and informative.A great spot from which to explore Tinos town and island.

Is there a more perfect AirBnB in Rhodes? I highly doubt it! A 300 yr old windmill with 4 bedrooms on a beach with reserved loungers and Tavernas either side that both deliver cold beers directly to you?! The surrounding area is also full of friendly bars and restaurants, but not too busy or loud and, of course, the magical Rhodes Town is only a 15 min taxi ride away. Chris & Anna were the perfect hosts - always available to make sure we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy this unique accommodation. We'll be back...

Our stay in Santorini was absolutely unforgettable. The location is unbeatable—perched right at the edge of Oia, with jaw-dropping views of the famous Santorini sunset. Watching the sky change colors from our private terrace was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The windmill itself is beautifully restored, full of charm and character. The interior was clean and cozy. The private hot tub was a highlight—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, offering great tips and ensuring everything was perfect throughout our stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We felt well taken care of and truly at home. If you’re looking for a unique, romantic, and scenic place to stay in Santorini, this is it. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and would return in a heartbeat.
