Windmill vacation rentals in Greece

We loved The Windmill! It is so characterful and charming. The pictures are accurate and it is a spacious and truly delightful apartment. The view over Stavros and the sea is stunning. Our host was generally around (their house is next door) and very attentive and helpful. She met us at the port and transferred us back again at the end. We loved the walk into Stavros and back - especially in the evening with all the stars. It is downhill all the way and therefore uphill to return - but a fairly gentle climb. Maybe 10-15 mins. We were staying in October and it was windy. I suspect the wind is very welcome in the heat of summer but it felt cold and difficult to get away from up at the Windmill (of course it gets the wind!!). Our host kindly let us use her garden for sitting where it was more sheltered. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

The beautiful windmill is located right in the heart of the old town, 5 mins drive from the other island’s center; the port. The booking is matching the description and indeed the bathroom is tiny/uncomfortable, but personally found it cute. Alternatively, you may have a shower outdoors though. The windmill has a great view of the sea, visible from the balcony or even your bed. Parking spot available, air conditioning/noise mentioned in other reviews was not an issue during our stay. Even though we did not meet the host, Dimitris was always available and more than willing to assist with all our queries promptly. Overall, if you are looking for an experience, then definitely recommendable. (p.s. ensure to have water bottles and shower gel with you, as they are not offered).

Perfect holiday thanks to topos exclusive, perfect luxury yet peaceful location. Our host went the extra mile to arrange our taxi services, take aways and fabulous excursions including a private yacht charter and horse-riding on the beach. Every aspect of our stay was AMAZING and we will definitely be back, highly recommend to anyone

3 nights in paradise. Dina was the consummate host and we felt privileged to enjoy this special place. The windmill was idyllic and peaceful, and the small village below perfect for beach and dinners. If you’re reading this review and considering staying here, don’t think any further, book now!!! Thank you to Dina for leaving us beautiful fruits, veggies, water and other necessities- it was very thoughtful and appreciated. We loved every second of our stay in this perfectly appointed accommodation. We hope to return again and make more magical memories!

This was an extremely special stay. The windmill and location is breathtaking, the food at the restaurant is fantastic, the access to explore the blue caves via the steps straight down to the water is unbelievable, but most of the all the Potimitis family who run this establishment showed us welcome and hospitality like we've never seen before. This is a magical place to stay, but the people make it truly unforgettable. Thank-you so much for having us, we will be back.

Andrea's place is even better than described. We stayed in the off season and it was a wonderful place to relax and really get an authentic experience. Highly recommend the walk to Fira (which you can do from the house), the Maritime Museum, and Akrotiri ruins. Lots of special touches like meeting us at the house and helping us carry our luggage during check in and check out and having a huge prepared breakfast every morning. Home manager checked in with us each day to see if we needed any local recommendations. We had a lovely stay and would return here again.

My friend and I stayed in the windmills for 3 days as our first stop in Greece. Wow. What an incredible and unique time! We absolutely loved being in perfect view for all the amazing sunsets and so close to everything in town. Along with that, Nodas from the Kryb team was an incredible host. He was a top notch communicator before we arrived, organizing a taxi for us from the port, giving us many suggestions of things to do and try and even helped us get in contact with people on the island to do different activities. If I ever come back to Mykonos, I would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful location - peaceful and with wonderful views. A stunning windmill rennovation, with a delightful terrace overlooking the sea. Spotlessly clean. Aris was helpful and friendly and informative.A great spot from which to explore Tinos town and island.

What a great find! Manos is very responsive and helpful to guests throughout the stay, recommend good restaurants. Super hot tub sunset views and nice bonus to have use of the pool area. Lovely to have breakfast brought to us on the terrace each morning. The Windmill is right at the end of the pedestrian area, so went nice and quiet after everyone had taken thier sunset photos. Only a few minutes walk into the thick of Oia town. Would recommend a walk down the steps to the restaurants at Ammoudi Bay, also we hired a car and drove up to Imerovigli and walked to Fira from there. Liked Oia best though, we'llbe back!
