House vacation rentals in Great Shelford

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

We so enjoyed our time at this wonderful property. The grounds and surrounding areas are beautiful. My kids enjoyed playing with the nearby cat and dog which I think was the highlight of their whole trip. The house was warm and inviting and we so appreciated checking in and some snacks and drinks on arrival. Ely is so close and the cathedral is a must-see. We would definitely stay here again and the kids are asking to return already!

Upon arrival Sally was there to greet us and give us a quick tour which was really helpful. The house itself is gorgeous - so spacious, perfect for a large group, and you want for nothing. The kitchen in particular is such an amazing socialising space - perfect for hosting! The Christmas decorations throughout were amazing and really made us feel at home and in the holiday spirit! All bedrooms were comfy, warm and spacious. We really enjoyed the pool table and darts. Everyone loved it! Location was so peaceful - countryside for miles but only a 10 min drive from Sandy station. Sally was super responsive throughout if we ever had any questions. And the cherry on top was the cuddliest cat Batman! We couldn’t have wished for a nicer place to spend Christmas with the family. Worth Every Penny, Great Host, beautiful place, clean, peaceful. If you love a jacuzzi with privacy. We were lucky to have a clear sky at night and the area has minimal light pollution so we saw beautiful consolations. We had approx 6 cars all fit well. I'd book again 100%

We had an absolutely wonderful month-long stay at this charming cottage in Saffron Walden! From the moment we arrived, we were delighted by the pretty decor and cozy atmosphere—it truly felt like a home away from home. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and its location near the center of town made exploring Saffron Walden incredibly easy. Naomi, our host, was exceptional. She was so kind and accommodating, always making sure everything was perfect for us. Her attention to detail and hospitality made our stay even more special. If you're visiting Saffron Walden, we can't recommend this place highly enough. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. We would absolutely return!

We found the place actually bigger than what it looked like on the description. Overall clean and walls recently painted. Very comfortable for the 3 couples + 1 kid that we were. The host was very responsive and friendly: upon an incident with the microwave oven, it was replaced by a new one within 3-4 hours!

Had everything you’d need for a stay - quiet location. Good size rooms, comfy beds. Has all the expected equipment in the kitchen for anyone doing a longer stray or catering for themselves. Would recommend and hope to book again
