Lovely private place with a large fenced backyard which was great for our children and dogs. Would definitely stay again.

Warm welcoming and well equipped perfectly describes this house. The minute you walk in you feel comfortable and at home. It is also spotless! Jane was very helpful always prompt with any responses and fixed a minor problem we had immediately. Cannot rate more highly, throughly recommend for any length of stay in Ballarat. Five stars!

We enjoyed our stay. The location in the older part of Ballarat was quiet and a very short drive to the centre of town. The cottage was comfortable with everything we needed, including generous breakfast provisions such as fresh eggs from the resident chooks and Sue our host was very friendly and helpful. The enclosed and private, bushy backyard was a great place to hang out for breakfast or a cuppa and a fun place for our 2 small dogs to safely explore! We felt very welcome, thanks to Sue!

We had a fantastic stay in Bella's gorgeous cottage. The house had everything we needed, was very comfortable and close to everything. We would definitely recommend and will return if we're ever in Ballarat again. Bella was a very friendly host and was super obliging with check-in and check-out times.

Our extended family just spent the week at Calando Hill. It felt like being at an exclusive 5 Star resort in regional Victoria. This included the plush bathrobes, fantastic amenities such as the pool, entertainment system, billiard table, cooks kitchen and beautiful interiors. The house itself is enormous, but felt cosy and inviting. The views all around are spectacular… and if you like solitude, this is the perfect place. We also managed to fit in a winery visit, hike to a beautiful waterfall and lunch at the local pub in Loxton. This place has something for everyone, and to top it off it’s dog friendly! Thanks Richard and Anita for welcoming us, I am definitely planning a return trip!

We had a beautiful stay at Daylesford in Chalet Noir! A luxurious, modern space with everything we needed. Pristine facilities and not too far from the main strip! Very friendly and responsive hosts, thankyou!:)

What an absolutely beautiful place! It was sweltering hot when we stayed and yet the beauty of the house , its entertaining area and the furnishings inside and out were so mind blowingly beautiful the chest was quickly forgotten. Whoever owns the house is very cultured, well travelled and has an eye and we are very grateful that they share it with people like us. Beautiful. And the restaurants nearby are exceptional. We ate at Sault and it was better than most Melbourne restaurants in our opinion.

There is so much more to the property than what is advertised. Stunning views of the valley from deck and master room. Outside area offers a huge space for entertaining and fury friends, combination of both deck and grass!. House was great size for a party of 6, plenty of space ie living , dinning area and spacious bedrooms. Pool great size and accommodating, not heated was a tad on the cold size but the weather sadly didn’t help with heating it up. Location is perfect!! for local amenities and popping into Daylesford itself. It is the country so unwanted guests did appear, part of the experience I say. Communication was superb from host, book with confidence! Great gem just outside of Daylesford.

Lucy's home was just amazing. Everything we wanted to see and do was close by, though we had such a quiet and serene location away from the hustle and bustle. It was great coming home from a fun day out to have a swim in the outdoor above ground pool and then relax on the sun lounges. We had fun playing tennis and basketball on the full sized court in the yard and sitting in the alfresco area at dinnertime. Every detail was thought out well, from the beautfiul linens, abundant quality towels and toiletries, fragrant candles and quality furnishings. We would love to come back one day again.

Beautiful outdoor pool and sunken kitchen. Very private and tranquil and enjoyed seeing some kangaroos

Communication was fantastic, responsive and helpful. Renee and Izy's place was clean, well stocked with essentials and in the perfect location to walk around beautiful Daylesford. The bed was super comfy as well.

Our large family stayed in the beautiful house, there was so much to do and explore in such little time we hope to revisit in the near future. The kids had a blast in the pool and we were luckily to have great weather the house kept cold for all to enjoy. Thanks again to Kirstie, we can’t wait to book again.

Robert’s been great as we relocate ourselves to regional Victoria he has not only supported us by blocking the additional time to support any delays but also really responsive when needed. The house is great, nicely done and easy to use for a night, weekend or as we did for nearly a month. Thank you Robert. We’ll see you for pizza and pasta soo ! X

Giselle was a fantastic host, her house was clean and tidy and in a fantastic location. It was an extra treat to have milk bread and eggs left by Giselle for us as well. I absolutely loved the decor and general feel of her house, I would definitely stay again and recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic deal close to town.

Adrian went above and beyond with sample products. Even tho we packed our own toiletries, the house came with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, as well as tea bags, spreads and cereal packs.

we had a great time staying here. There were clear instructions and a lovely hamper. Our young boys adored the horses and were sad to say goodbye to them. Our pup loved the space too. Great spot for us to base our trip to Ballarat.

Stonehenge retreat saved us during a house move, while we had to do some renovations at our new home. Our pets were welcome with us and it made everything so easy. We were grateful enough to be able to find pet friendly accom, but even more delighted at how quaint, peaceful and relaxing Stonehenge Retreat is. I liken it to being in a fancy tree house, especially when sitting up stairs, which I loved to do while on my laptop. Our pets were very happy there too, and we had everything we needed. We certainly recommend Stonehenge for anyone looking for something a little different to the usual Air BnBs out there.

Book this house it is a beautiful building and it has beautiful light and furniture. It is a perfect place to relax. You will sleep well and it is a great location, a lovely area to enjoy a walk and close to the city, great cafes, the store and sporting venues. Enjoy.
