House vacation rentals in Gloucester

We were 8 adults and 3 young children and we had a great stay. Ann was a great host and really helpful with everything. Would 100% recommend. Lots of amenities and everything is really well thought out and done.

Had a wonderful stay for our friend’s hen do with 12 ladies! The place is beautiful and full of character. It has everything you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. The hosts were super friendly and responsive throughout the booking process and on arrival. We were left a lovely welcome hamper which was such a nice touch and made to feel very welcome. The best part is the beautiful countryside scenery surrounded by fields. We can’t say much about the location. (Other than the wonderful scenery and how quiet and relaxing it feels) because we never left the house all weekend, but you don’t need to with the pool, hot tub and cinema room with table tennis and games. It makes for the perfect place for a fun and relaxing get away. We would definitely return either as a group of friends or with families for the kids to enjoy. It would make a great stay at any time of year, especially at Christmas time or in the summer to enjoy the outside more. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. We had a fabulous stay at Lois’ for a weekend friends reunion. Lois and Paul were welcoming and took the time to talk us through local information. The house had more sleeping areas than we’d realised, which was great. We used the pool and were delighted to find Lois had left us an array of treats in the kitchen. Thank you for having us, I am sure we’ll be back to this fab location.

Had an amazing time at the home this weekend. The house was better than I anticipated. Plenty of room and clean. The indoor pool and hot tub were fantastic. The bar and cinema were amazing for entertaining. The host was very friendly and helpful. He was available to answer my questions even late in the evening. I would highly recommend this booking and would love to stay again.

Excellent instructions to find the property. House was clean and comfortable. There was sufficient plates, cups, glasses, etc for the number of people stating in the house, plus a large pan for cooking. The children who were part of the group appreciated the toys on the property. The park was quiet and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying here again for a family get together

We had a really lovely stay at Marion's barn conversion. It has a well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom, comfortable sofas - very nice set up, would definitely recommend. We really enjoyed playing tennis on the tennis court. Only disappointment was not being allowed to use the fireplace which hadn't been clear when booking.

Only one word to describe our stay....fantastic!! Jenny and David were very approachable and communicative both before and during our stay. The cottage itself was perfect, very clean, had all we needed for our stay and more besides. Easy and clear check-in, with plenty of local details provided. Easy walking distance into Stow On The Wold - nearest pub is 30 seconds away!! Very reasonably priced too by comparison to local hotels which would have cost us at least double the price, if not more. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time. Beds were really comfy, showers good, lovely rooms. Andrew gave us all the info we needed in a timely way.

Really enjoyed our stay. Charmaine and Andrea were very responsive to all questions asked and were very helpful. The house was immaculate and very cosy. The games room was great fun! I would highly recommend if you wanted a rural getaway with good views.

We stayed as a group of 7 adults and very much enjoyed our stay. Nikki is a great host; making sure everything was in place and that we had all information on getting set up and how to work things. She was very responsive throughout the stay. The house is comfy, well equipped and great fun.

Excellent location within easy distance of bars, pubs, restaurants and shops. Easy to check in and flexible on check in and check out. Very well appointed and kitted out accommodation which was very clean and lacked nothing. Comfortable beds and linens. Very sociable space. Helpful, responsive and informative hosts. The eight of us had a fantastic stay in such a lovely house.

Excellent house for a weekend away with friends - 14 of us including little ones, plus two dogs. Ample living space and bedrooms, kitchen felt a little small when cooking but it’s well stocked and there was plenty of space to sit and eat together. Mark was really helpful, communicated excellently and offered us flexibility with check in/out times which was greatly appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again, thank you Mark for a great stay!

Debbie's place was a perfect base to explore Upton. spacious yet cosy and well presented. The house is within a stone's throw of many restaurants and pubs and there are good walking routes around the local area.

It was beautiful place we enjoyed it

Stayed as a stag group this weekend filling the whole house. Nice aesthetics, very clean and a well equipped kitchen. The lounge was the perfect size to fit us all in and the place was private enough to enjoy the time together. Walking distance into town with plenty of pubs and markets as well as a convenience store across the road (it closes at 7pm). We took the train to Leamington Spa on Saturday which was only 10-15 minute walk. Emma was a very accommodating and conscientious host. She is very proud of the property and is very available when we needed some extra parking permits or advice about the location. Obviously not a typical stag location but the property was great and the town itself had some nice pubs for the time we spent there. Most of the guys in the group were considering revisiting for trips with their partners!

Absolutely loved staying at the Coach House. Beautiful, spotlessly clean, dog friendly, lots to do in the pretty village of Bourton and central to all amenities. Loads of walks from the door too. Private parking is very handy. Comfortable beds. Lovely log burner with logs etc provided. Would definitely stay here again. Ian was very easy to get in touch with, quick to respond and extremely pro active and helpful.

Roz was a fantastic host, and extremely helpful. The house was great, perfect for our stay and looked exactly as the photos showed. Super clean and had everything we needed. Great location within Portishead and would 100% recommend staying here. We hope to come back soon!

Wow! You couldn’t wish to find a more beautiful setting for a cosy break in the Cotswolds! We had the most amazing time at the Barn. We stayed for just the weekend but wish we could have stayed for longer. The barn is a stunning renovation in a picturesque setting, immaculately tidy, spacious, beautifully dressed throughout, a little slice of English paradise. Our hosts Becky & Tom were so helpful and lovely, they gave us a host of recommendations, from restaurants, pubs and bars to local farm shops and walks. We were greeted with a variety of local treats on arrival. Communication was fantastic and they made us feel so at home. If you’re looking for a romantic break or a little peaceful getaway, you must visit the barn! We will definitely be returning and can’t thank Becky & Tom enough for making our stay so special. Can’t wait to go back x

Beautiful barn and absolutely perfect for our group of 12, we had a great time facilities are superb and the games room was ideal for the younger members of our family, and the older ones after a couple of drinks. Thank you for the excellent communication, superb location and quality coffee tea and biscuits. Definitely recommended

We had an amazing weekend and it was the perfect house and location. As a group of friends it was ideal as all of the bedrooms were ensuite and there was plenty of space for everyone. The only real downside was that the dining table was not large enough for us all to sit around - but we managed. The kitchen was ideal for chatting and shaing snacks whilst dinner was being prepped - a real social space. We loved the games room and had a lot of fun in there. We enjoyed a lovely walk on May Hill and the gardens of the house are beautiful and spaceous. Ultimately if you are looking for a house to share with a large group of people , whether that is family or friends then I / we would recommend.
