We had a wonderful two weeks at Chalet Balu and enjoyed every moment - the peace and quiet up there is incomparable, the nature incorruptible and the winter landscape fantastically clear. The chalet is absolutely recommendable!

We had a great weekend with Fabienne and her family. The house is fantastic and the fenced outdoor area with hotpot, fire bowl and cozy sitting areas was not only a highlight for our dog. Communication as well as check in and out were very straightforward. We got many good tips for excursions, shopping and restaurants. The location is ideal for excursions in the area - even without a car. Sincere thanks for the hospitality. We will be happy to come back.

We spent a great week with three generations in this wonderful house. From the kitchen equipment to the very lovingly furnished rooms, everything was just perfect and very clean. We really enjoyed it and would be happy to come back. Thank you Yolanda.

Exceeded expectations! Fantastic location with amazing views. Wonderful access to hiking and activities. So much to do within 10 minutes drive. Complete privacy. Comfortable home with washer and dryer, dishwasher, comfortable beds, balcony, and nice shower. View of the surrounding valley, including the waterfall. Amazing host - provided fantastic ideas for hiking, bakeries, and other activities. Wish we had more than five days and hope to return. Worked very well with 4 people for a larger family. The deck and outdoor space was fantastic. An amazing part of the country made even better by a wonderful place to stay.

We felt very comfortable. The hosts were super nice and helped us with all our questions. Communication was mega uncomplicated and very pleasant. The kitchen has everything you need. The only downside: The ceiling height in the living room and kitchen are very low. Not for tall people, unless you have nothing against walking in these rooms or bumping your head;) We found it cozy :)

Nicole has thought of everything and has taken care of every small detail to ensure a wonderful stay! A welcome gift of chocolates and local honey were provided and really appreciated it. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pans, utensils, drink ware and dinner ware. Paper towels, sponges, soap, cleaning supplies, spices, salt, pepper, sugar and more were all provided. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels which is something unique and very much appreciated. Nicole was responsive to every message and was even provided us with converter plugs because we forgot Switzerland has different outlets than Austria and Germany. The apartment was just as pictured with plenty of space and comfortable accommodations. The apartment is on the lower level of the house and has a terrace that opens to a lovely flat yard. We didn't hear any noise at all from the upstairs or from the road. The house is a short distance (1-2 min drive or 15 min drive) to downtown Flims. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, well stocked apartment, with mountain views. House was clean and spacious. Outdoor area was an added bonus. Just minutes from the slopes via bus which has a stop right outside the apartment. Numerous hiking trails right outside the front door. Host was extremely helpful and responsive.

Very good experience with the host and the location of the apartment. Everything, from grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants to pharmacies and bus stations is practically on the doorstep of the apartment, so I would definitely recommend the visit. Also very nice and quiet location with its own terrace and outdoor kitchen with grill :)

Joe is the perfect host and provides his guests with helpful tips. The apartment was very well equipped, very clean and corresponds to the photos. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

The apartment is well furnished, immaculately clean and Christoph is a very proactive, helpful host. The friendly welcome made us feel like home. Great is the ski cellar and the excellent bus connection. A very clear recommendation for Davos visitors! I can also imagine a visit in the summer very well.

The apartment is very lovingly decorated, equipped with everything you need and has a beautiful view. We enjoyed it very much and we would like to spend our vacation there again another time.

We were guests for the second time in this beautiful alpine hut and that probably says it all! :) Our first stay in the pre-Christmas season 2023 could hardly have been more beautiful with fresh fresh snow. Also this time at the beginning of March we had fantastic weather - some snow, sunshine every day and blue sky - we can hardly imagine a more relaxing place than Cortinella. The alpine panorama in the tranquility of nature and of course the hot tub are the highlights in this vacation paradise, where we lacked nothing - except maybe enough vacation days ;-) Hopefully we will be back soon!

My partner and I loved this place! The sauna was very easy to use, the breakfast was generous and tasty, the bed was comfortable and warm. The surroundings are beautiful. Overall I highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy stay

Marc is a fantastic host. The accommodation is a typical Swiss mountain hut with tradition, which we really liked. The arrival was comfortable, the cabin is easy to reach. Thanks Marc, we will be happy to come back.

We had the great pleasure of celebrating Christmas at this beautiful cabin and it was just perfect! Stefanie went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable – already upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine. The cabin was immaculately clean, tidy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The cozy atmosphere, especially the crackling fireplace, has perfectly rounded off the rustic style. It was the ideal place to enjoy the holidays. We can highly recommend this property and will be happy to come back!
