Family-friendly vacation rentals in Georgetown

Well equipped, comfortable, and spotless place… location is very peaceful and serene… Overall we had a great stay! Few nitpicks to note: 1. Hard to comprehend from pictures alone how low the lake is. There really is no lake access at this time. 2. Not sure I would call “private”. Hosts live upstairs and have a full view of the patio area. Not an issue for us (and hosts are unobtrusive and very friendly) but could be for some 3. I’m very picky about light bulbs so this is a personal preference, but the light bulbs are very bright white LEDs which, in my view, takes away from an otherwise warm space.

This was the best birthday trip ever! Jaya was very responsive to messages and provided plenty detailed useful information. Her place was quiet and just steps away from breathtaking views. Perfectly located from the parking garage, elevator and pool/spa. We would definitely choose to stay again in the future.

Fantastic Stay at a great home! Steven was a great host and quick to respond. Gave great recommendations. The House is located in a great neighbourhood. You can walk to the nearby restaurants or head across the river to downtown.

We loved our stay at Brian’s place! The best feature is the walkability, less than 5 min from Congress and tons of shops and restaurants. This cool house was like a kid’s secret door dream house. There were so many nooks and crannies to explore, with doors that led to secret rooms and staircases connecting parts of the house. You can see this in the pictures, but it was even more exciting to discover in person. We had a 10 person bachelorette group, so two people slept in each bed. The couch in the living room is big enough for someone to sleep on too. Two taller/larger people might find sleeping two per bed cramped. The hot tub was excellent and worked perfectly. The living/dining area was big enough for group activities and meals. There were some creaks and noises throughout the house and some rooms had more light coming in the windows than others, which affected some people’s sleep. Overall we had a great time and would recommend!

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit. Our stay at this Airbnb during our daughter's graduation at the University of Austin was absolutely fantastic. The home was not only comfortable but also conveniently located, allowing us to easily navigate the city and attend all the graduation events without any hassle. What truly set this Airbnb apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality of the host. She made sure we had everything we needed for a memorable stay and gave some great suggestions on places to eat. But what truly blew us away was her responsiveness to our request to look for our forgotten sunglasses. She found out sunglasses and promptly shipped them to us. It's these little gestures of thoughtfulness that truly make a difference and leave a lasting impression. Overall, our experience at this Airbnb was nothing short of amazing. Comfortable accommodations, a great location, and a host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel at home.

We went there to celebrate my daughter’s sweet 16. The girls loved the goals, fire pit for smores, and hot tub. A great time was had!

A peaceful, cozy, restful stay! Ronda was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. She even encouraged us to invite over our niece and nephew to visit the animals on the property, which was so much fun and made our trip even more special. We will certainly plan to stay here again next time we are in town!

Beautiful private house, super modern and great WiFi. Fit my friends and I comfortably and created a good environment. It was walkable to the downtown area and was very close to a nice trail that goes under Congress Bridge, which made it great to run or walk in the mornings for some sight seeing and boating. The host was great and always responded fast!

I loved this quiet, comfortable Airbnb in the heart of Austin! It was immaculately clean, very well taken care of and in such a great location. Walking distance to some great places to eat and Zilker Park. Beds are comfortable and rooms are dark and quiet at night. I highly recommend staying here.

Carolyn‘s place was a cozy, eclectic gem in an amazing neighborhood of Austin. She’s a true artist and her home shows it. Her home is clearly loved and cared for, with thoughtful touches everywhere. She was very easy to communicate with, however, we had no problems during our stay. The outdoor space is lovely and feels very secluded, even in the heart of Austin. There was so much to do within walking distance - coffee shops, souvenirs, great restaurants. We’d love to stay at Carolyn‘s place again!

True hospitality for our group. Lynn and Jerry’s place was amazing. They were very proactive and accommodating with all our asks. The home is in a great location with great access to all of Austin’s go to spots. Truly awesome outdoor space, great for groups and a great base camp. Overall would highly recommend and would book again.

Ashley's place was sooo perfect for our party of 8 for a bachelorette weekend in Austin. It is just like the pictures and just as described. The pool was perfect and there were lots of extra fun props around for our photo ops. She was very helpful and communicative throughout our stay. I will say this location is a fair drive from the airport and downtown (~20-30min) and Austin unfortunately has alot of traffic. We did rent a car which made trips easier. Ubers are also plentiful. We had a blast here and highly recommend this for any large groups!

Kim was very responsive and informative the place was beautiful easy check in and a lot of good vibes overall I would definitely book again once I’m back in Austin me and the guys were very appreciative of the setting

We truly enjoyed our stay. There was not a time we didn’t feel right at home or feel if we needed anything we couldn’t get it quickly and easily. The hot tub was fabulous in the weather we had during our time there!!! They went above and beyond to make us feel special a few times during our visit and the fresh cookies were a very “sweet” touch. We will be back when it warms up!! Thank you!!!!
