Vacation rentals with a firepit in Gentilly, New Orleans

The house was exceptionally clean. Was a little concerned about the neighborhood but once we met the neighbors I was relieved. An Uber or Lyft to downtown Nashville for 4 was 40.00 one way but worth it.

We Enjoyed our stay. Warm welcoming for the neighbors and the house was nice and clean. The area was centered around nice restaurants close to Frenchman street. Would definitely recommend.

Great house! We would most definitely stay again. It’s a short uber to Bourbon and Frenchman, definitely too far to walk, but not always a bad thing. The house is beautiful!

Such a nice place, so relaxing, and so close to all the activities we wanted to do! Everything we needed was 20 minutes away or less.

Karen was extremely hospitable and eager to provide any and all recommendations for food, entertainment, and sightseeing. A most warm welcome to a most wonderful city. The location couldn't have been better, far away enough from all the hullabaloo so it's still peaceful and quiet for getting a night's sleep, but a very short walk (less than 10 minutes) to many of the coolest bars and restaurants. It's about a 35-minute walk to the French Quarter which will seem like nothing as it's such a beautiful and storied city to walk through. Thank you so much Karen for being a part of a magnificent first impression of New Orleans!

I had a few special considerations to deal with. Timing and so on. Rik dealt with it, quickly and without any hassle. Nice place with a low-key vibe for a great stay in New Orleans. I'd definitely come back.

Book Jami's place for my entire family (6 total) to stay at. Not only was there enough room for everyone, but it was very comfortable and cosy. Not only could we get to NOLA quickly and easily. but we were able to enjoy just being together at the house. Plenty of room for the family to be together, but enough space for privacy when needed.

This was our first time to New Orleans! The house was adorable and Gabriella was a fantastic Host! So close to all the fun! Ubers galore in the area-I wouldn’t mess with driving ;) would stay again if we ever make our way to New Orleans in the future!

This place was a dream. It’s everything the pictures and description say and maybe a little more. We could not have been more please with the entire situation and experience. 10 out of 10! And this beds were some of the most comfortable that I’ve slept in. We will be back

Favorite place we've stayed while in New Orleans. This shotgun house was the perfect homebase for our weekend getaway with friends. We absolutely loved the location off Magazine in the Garden District. Even though we had a coffee maker, we opted to walk right around the corner to the very first original PJ'S coffee house (pet friendly!). Whole Foods around the block was super convenient as well. Walgreens across the street. We woke up and picked fresh satsumas and grapefruit for our mimosas. Jimmy stopped by with fresh, homemade pasta that we cooked late night as we had been traveling all day. It really was fantastic! Jimmy also suggested Guy's Poboys for lunch and it was just a short walk and few blocks away. It was nice to sit out on the front balcony area and enjoy the breeze while watching people and doggies walk by. I really enjoyed waking up each morning and walking through the neighborhood streets, so pretty. Discovering Octavia Book store at the end of the block was a delight!

Great location in New Orleans, couldn’t of picked a better place for the location and the price. Worth every penny, had a great time with some friends!

Darleen is very hospitable. She anticipated my need by letting me know when streets would be shut down for parades and made the place accessible to me earlier for check-in to accommodate that circumstance, which I very much appreciated. She's also generous and has good taste -- left me a cupcake from La Boulangerie bakery. The shower is strong and luxurious. Also, her library added to the homey feel of the place. I would definitely rent this spot again, and Darleen is a great host:-)

Stacy was a wonderful host. She was very responsive and proactive in making sure we had the information we needed about the house. The house itself was very nice and had everything we needed. IT was in a safe, peaceful, pretty neighborhood and was in walking distance to the street car, which we took every day on our visit to New Orleans. It was also within a mile of a supermarket and restaurants. We were very happy with our stay here. Thank you.

Place was easy to find and instructions were clear for easy check in. Bathroom was nice and spacious. Lighting in the walkway was helpful for at night to get to door. Natalia was an excellent host and I would recommend her to my friends if they are in the area.

This is a wonderful gem in Nola. Donna was so kind and hospitable- she left us snacks and champagne, and she’s very responsive. Her place is the best location to explore Nola. I hope we have the chance to stay there again!

Loved Dakota’s Airbnb, hate that I had to cut the trip short due to an emergency back at home. I would definitely book again

This was a great stay! Very clean and nice little cabin for my friends and I during our visit to the city. Fatimah is a very responsive host and will meet your needs!

My husband and I fell in love with this beautiful private home. Located right in front of the river where we both had the privilege to fish in and watch the sunsets. This is your place if you are looking for a more relaxing and intimate experience. It’s located in the middle of a small town but also just a few minutes from the center. Being it was my very first time in Louisiana I would recommend staying with Stephanie. She had quick communication no matter what time and made sure our stay was memorable.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay in Jean Lafitte. The surrounding area felt very safe and secure. We could not get over the beautiful surroundings. My kids had a blast fishing and learning how to use a casting net. Julie was the icing on the cake for this trip. We had a bad storm while we were staying there and she checked on us to make sure we were ok. She made sure we had everything we needed and she even blessed our daughter with a Christmas present. We would love to stay here again!

We loved everything about our cabin. The place was spotless & the beds were very comfortable, the area was peaceful. We enjoyed walking around the property and having coffee on our inclosed porch. Even noticed a fireplace area, and a covered area with picnic tables, grills and even a vending machine, great for family gatherings. Located 20 mins outside of downtown New Orleans, Fatimah gave us a great tip, to take the $2 ferry boat over to downtown. even reached out to see if we needed anything else. Coming from Michigan in the winter to a heated pool is always a plus. I will definitely be back.
