This house is a great place to stay. We will be back for sure. We have friends and family that live near by. Fenced yard was perfect for our fur baby. This place was super clean. Updated. Stayed here for a ski trip at Boyne. Was close to Boyne and restaurants. Loved the hot tub. Perfect size for 2 couples

Went for a girls weekend, 4 of us total, and it was perfect! Great place to relax and unwind. Close to downtown Traverse City and beautiful hikes. Michelle was very helpful and friendly. Overall a perfect place to getaway!

We had a great time with family, 4 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. Beautiful, private space right on the trails. Andreia was friendly. Very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend.

Lauren and Tom were excellent hosts during our family weekend getaway. Their home was beautiful and very welcoming. Highlights: the ease of entry, the digital information booklet (provided everything), the hot tub, the beds, the cleanliness, and the amount of seating for activities. We visited in the middle of a Michigan “snowmagedden” and their home was a perfect escape. The drive was plowed. The hot tub was hot. We did lose power once but Lauren was right on top of keeping us updated on restoration times. Special mention regarding the beds. Truly THE MOST comfortable beds we have run across while staying away from home. My family gives their home a 5 star rating and plan to make it an annual trip.

THIS home is perfect! Location and setting was outstanding—even in our wintertime stay! The stock of everything in the home was thorough and thought filled! The beds were so cozy! And all other amenities were fantastic! 1.5 baths—>💯✅! Will stay here again!

We had an amazing family vacation at the “Beach House”. My family loved this area on Long Lake. The beach is very private , and we used it everyday. The beach also has a small fire pit, with a larger fire area up by the cabin. It’s a 16 minute drive into Cheboygan. Where their are many shops, and Restaurants. Cheboygan also has a beautiful trail system, with the Trail Head right in town. Our daughter ran on this trail at least three times while we were here. Makinaw City, and the Makinaw Bridge, are only 30-35 minute’s away.

My best friend, my kid & I had a wonderful, relaxing winter get away. We love all the snow. The place was very clean & comfortable & just great for what we needed. We highly recommend!

Had a great stay here for the second time. Place was clean and tidy as always. Well stocked with towels, soaps, pots/pans, etc. Some recent renovations have the place looking even better than I remember.

This is a gem!! Loved our stay. Perfect location to wineries, restaurants, shopping, and beach! Great farm and open areas to walk our dogs. Definitely will be back!!

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

We had a wonderful time in Charlevoix! The house was perfect for two people plus a dog! The backyard was amazing and private, and the location was perfect to walk downtown and through the neighborhood. Oksana was very helpful and friendly, we loved the fresh bread and eggs for breakfast, and recommendations of nearby places to go. We’re hoping to come back again. Great place!

Without a doubt, one of my favorite places to stay in Northern Michigan. It was my third time staying at the property & it just keeps getting better. It was a beautiful Winter weekend & the cabin/cottage was cozier than ever! My wife & I really appreciated some of the updated decor, features & amenities that Carolyn has added & provided for the space & guests stay. By far, a fantastic "home-base" for anyone visiting & exploring the Leelanau Peninsula. Will stay again, and again, and again, and again!

Our car broke down on our way up North so we got to the house very late with no food or water because stores were closed and luckily this house had everything we needed and was so clean and cozy! We enjoyed every room and played lots of games and built a fire everyday. The guidebook was also so helpful! We enjoyed this house so much and would love to come back and stay at Darcy’s again. One of my favorite stays, thank you so much!!

Great little cottage. Loved the location and the proximity to town. Everything we needed. Will definitely return hopefully when it isn’t cold and rainy so I can enjoy the beautiful screened porch and nice yard/firepit.

What a great rental and what great hosts! My wife and I spent four nights at Laurie and Ralph's cabin outside Charlevoix and we didn't want to leave. Very highly recommend. Can't wait to come back again! The house itself is peaceful and comfortable and has everything a couple might need. Outside we sat down by the lake and saw the auroras and took advantage of their kayaks to go for a paddle. Laurie was very helpful and communicative, even sending us a photo of the driveway which is a bit hidden. Ralph even came over with an extra flashlight when the power briefly went out all over town. Charlevoix and the rest of the area was fantastic. Cute town with some great places to eat and just walk through the shops. From Boyne Falls to Petoskey, everything we wanted to do was within a quick and very scenic drive.
