Beautiful space that felt like home away from home. Perfectly clean, easily accessible, spacious and in a great location. I enjoyed my time and would definitely stay again.

We had a great time! We just needed a nice place for my bridesmaids and I to stay in for the night before my wedding because we live so far away. I would definitely come back if I’m ever in Killeen again!

We stayed at Home Away from Home to visit family and the house was very comfortable. Joe was very friendly and we really enjoyed getting to meet him, he made sure we knew he was available for anything we needed and checked in throughout our stay. We would recommend this house to anyone going to the Gatesville area and will gladly stay there again on our next visit.

We enjoyed our time in the China Springs area of Waco visiting family. The home we rented was a comfortable place to sleep. The bed in the main bedroom was especially comfortable. We made some great memories and it was hard to say goodbye. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautiful home, great location and very peaceful. Definitely recommend if you want to get away to somewhere cozy and quiet but still near lots of things to do.

House and neighborhood clean!

The Cottage was beautiful and well stocked. The hosts genuinely cared about our enjoyment and were very responsive when we communicated. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit with our kids, and we truly enjoyed our stay. They even had a little welcoming basket with goodies when we arrived. We would definitely come back, and couldn’t have asked for better hosts.

What a cozy place to stay in a safe neighborhood! While it was extremely cold out while we stayed - I'm sure it would be so fun in the summer to use the pool and grill too! The bed was super comfy, as well as the pillows and linens. The bathroom was updated and had everything you need. We especially loved walking along the street, there are beautiful homes and a lovely coffee shop. Peter was proactive with check-in information and local recommendations. We would definitely stay again!!

Clean, very comfortable beds and wonderful animals! The cat was very friendly and the animals adorable.

Great stay.We were in town for my sons birthday for 5 nights at Josie’s place.This house is perfect for a large family and small one like ours.The house is very nice,clean,and in a nice neighborhood.The pool was awesome.We loved the covered patio in the back that had furniture and a nice size tv.Josie was a great host who was quick to respond to any questions we had.We would stay here again in a heartbeat.We don’t visit my son as much as we would like,because we get so bored at the hotels and other homes we have rented.This was the first time we really didn’t want to leave!

This was a last minute booking , and they were very accommodating. It is an Ideal location for nature lovers. You will get to experience some enjoyable wildlife sightings. Moon river has Peaceful atmosphere.

We loved our stay! Vicki was very responsive to my questions and have clear and complete directions for everything. The apartment was super clean, was decorated so nicely, and had everything we needed and more! I would definitely love to stay again and recommend the Highway Hideaway to anyone visiting the area!

Lindsey was fantastic to work with; she responded quickly and went out of her way to accommodate us with a last minute stay. The house is very charming, equipped with all the comforts of home, and more!! We had no issues with the house at all! Also, it was exceptionally CLEAN! We were in town due to a medical emergency & the house was a fast & easy commute to and from Baylor Scott & White Hospital, Temple. We are so grateful for Lindsey sharing her house!! We would definitely recommend staying here!!

Fun house on the lake in a quiet neighborhood. Lake access, near parks and fishing, and cozy feel!

This spot was the perfect little escape to some quiet, but close enough to downtown Waco where we could spend the day out and about. The space is open, peaceful & had everything we needed to make dinner and have a fun board game night. Hosts were super friendly as well! Thank yall!

Great place to stay! Perfect location in between Lampasas and Burnet. The pictures are a bit deceiving, there are multiple airbnbs right next to you. This wasn’t a problem in anyway just unexpected. Can get a bit noisy from the highway, not as secluded as you are led to believe. Overall would totally stay again. Vangie was very helpful and responsive.
