Villa vacation rentals in Furnas

Rarely have we felt comfortable in a vacation home so quickly. The view of the sea is breathtaking and the decor offers many opportunities to enjoy it. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, it leaves nothing to be desired. In addition, it was purchased for our arrival. On cooler evenings, the fireplace provided a wonderfully cozy warmth. We were a little wistful when we left the place and would book this place again without hesitation.

The place was great. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The house has everything you need to enjoy the island and includes top notch appliances. No complaints! The hosting company meets with you to go over the house and they also check-in via messaging app periodically.

We are so sad to leave this beautiful place! The house’s description is very accurate to the T: perfect location- you will be able to explore the island easily, 4 equally sized bedrooms with a pullout as an extra, kitchen with all the utensils, pots, glasses, ect. Our favorite part was the rooftop deck with sunrises and sunrises! The host graciously made the reservations for local restaurants and recommended some extra activities that we didn’t include in our original plans. The communication was easy - usually reply came in 30 min. We would happily recommend this place to our friends and hopefully come back soon. Note: the house has lots of stairs that can create problems for people with limited mobility. It was not an issue for us but it might be an issue for some.

Very nice place, from comfy beds to a beautiful living room, we really enjoyed staying in the house! BBQ pit was a great addition - used it almost every night. And it's sooooo quiet! Will be back again!

The apartment, and large outdoor space was ideal. Opportunity to hire car for a few days was perfect. Only suggestion I would give would be to have small welcome basket of some basic food stuffs available upon checking. Nothing major and probably about 10€ worth of 1x milk, water, coffee, etc

Our family of four loved the place. Great location and had everything we needed for the week stay. Communication with César was super easy and check in and check out smooth. Can highly recommend 🙌🏻

Francisco's place was absolutely stunning. Overlooks the Atlantic. Some of our favorite moments were morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Parking was easy to find and the house was immaculate. Lagao isn't as nice as Ponta but still has its charm and is only a short distance away. However Lagao has all basic amenities you need close to the property. Would stay again

Pedro is a really nice host to communicate with. He gave us clear instructions for the check in, and the place itself is really nice, cozy and clean. I would recommend this place for your stay

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. A perfect place to rest and to enjoy the ocean views. It was peaceful, and comforting to hear the bells of the church across the bay. A great location and excellent hospitality by our host, Pedro.

Communication with Victor was excellent, from booking to checkout. The place is enchanting and modern. The recreation factor was high, including the quiet location, the excellent bed, the paved, framed property and the outdoor bathtub. We regularly got new towels. During our stay, the ceiling air conditioning in the bedroom was broken, but was helped with a mobile unit. We were positively surprised that we had privacy despite the glass facade. All in all: a worsening holiday in this house and with Victor. Thank you!!

Beautiful house, the sea view is breathtaking and the whole house is very spacious. Big kitchen and a barbecue in the pool area - my family really enjoyed staying in this house, highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. With the stone walls surrounding the house and the iron gate, you have a lovely sense of privacy. The pool is lovely and is bigger than the pictures suggest. Although not walkable, the house is very convenient near a super market and less than 10 minutes away from Santa Barbara and other beaches. Felipe was a great host - very responsive to anything we needed.

We were visiting from Canada, and stayed at one of João's listings. The communication the entire time was great. Even with the time difference the response was quick. The property was clean, and it felt like we were home away from home. Definitely recommended this property and will be returning with my family.

Beautiful place and very spacious house with many amenities. The host was extremely kind and communicative. We were informed in advance about certain shortcomings and were offered a discount. A nice gesture was the champagne and chocolates upon arrival. The only downside might have been the noticeable humidity, although this is quite understandable given the conditions and location. For this reason, the pizza oven took a long time to heat up, as the moisture had to evaporate. During the period we stayed (late December to early January), it was quite windy, rainy, and foggy, so it’s worth considering this in your plans.

FANTASTIC Airbnb! Not only was the home beautiful, modern, and conveniently located, but Margerida and the team were above and beyond. The communication/check in was super easy, and Margerida very promptly responded to any messages and helped with any needs during our stay. Probably the kindest and sweetest Airbnb hostess I have ever encountered. We were traveling with a 1 year old and they provided extras for this, and we felt safe in the home. Definitely would recommend without any hesitation!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here. We were already thinking of when we could come again on day 2. It had everything we needed and more. Rui was very pleasant and helpful. If you have any questions during your stay he responds quickly. I loved that they provide an online guide to the island and a binder full of hiking trails. Staying here enhanced our experience of the island.

We enjoyed our stay at Quinta do Passo. The place matched the description - ideally located in the city center, close to shops and restaurants and the house was comfortable, well maintained and had great amenities. Communication with the host was seamless! Nuno was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was memorable from start to finish. We’d consider staying here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Green View over Christmas. Mariana is lovely, she was super quick to reply, gave us loads of great recommendations and even sent her husband out to us on Christmas Eve with extra towels! The location is very accessible to lots of great attractions; you’ll need a car to get around, there’s two small shops within walking distance for essentials. The house is lovely, very spacious and has everything you need. The kitchen is excellent with everything you need for cooking and very large fridge/freezer. Some of the pots/pans are quite scratched which made them unusable. The TV upstairs is the only one with streaming services (Netflix etc), the sofa is quite firm. Downstairs, the TV has a few channels but no streaming services - the couch is very comfy downstairs so would’ve been better if the TVs were swapped around! Beds are quite firm but comfy pillows and blankets. Bathrooms are clean and lots of space for toiletries etc.

Our host Tiago answered his phone every time I called. He was helpful with directions and assisted with all we needed or requested immediately. Very responsive and kind. We loved the layout of the home. Easy access in the door, the bedroom and bathroom walkin shower for very good for elderly people. All the rest including the awesome pool and view was great for the rest. We had 8 persons and we hope to come back again.
