Centrally located on the Kenai Peninsula, this is a great basecamp for incredible nearby fishing in the Kenai River and numerous lakes, awesome coastal trails, vistas of Redoubt Volcano and bear viewing trips. Created to be a cozy cabin to relax inside or enjoy the outdoors with a private patio, fire pit, hammock and grill, we hope our cabin feels like your home base for adventure as you explore Alaska’s natural playground!

Kotsina Retreat

Located less than 20 minutes from Kenai and close enough to the highway for easy navigation but far enough away for abundant privacy. Spacious home with large kitchen, two living areas and yoga room. Enjoy the outdoors with the wraparound porch, and help yourself to the fruit in the small orchard and long strawberry beds. Nearby are gorgeous recreation trails and pool, and beach access is only a couple miles away for bonfire fun! NOTE ON PETS: Undisclosed pets will result in extra pet fee.

Sleep in our large Tepee! Cots and sleeping bags for up to 4. Outlet for lights and chargers. Wood burning stove. Kenai river access for fishing a short walk from your tepee. 13 acres allows for the chance see wildlife from your own fire pit. Lockable gear storage, just bring a padlock. Propane grill. We also have 5 cabins and 6 RV sites with full hookups. Dry camping. Laundry cabin with coin op washers and dryers. It also has an extra bath with 2 Showers, which is also for tepee guests.

This home is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood, five minutes south of Soldotna. It's 70 miles to Homer and an hour and a half to Seward. It's close to the Kenai and Kasilof rivers. There's plenty of parking for a boat, snowmobile or trailer. There's moose and caribou in the area and the back yard has many varieties of birds. There are beautiful gardens front and back and lawns.
