Smoking-friendly vacation rentals in French Quarter, New Orleans

My family and I wanted to spend Christmas in NOL.A. I chose Michelle’s home based on the reviews and pictures. Her home was our home away from home for a week. The house is so charming, the furniture is beautiful. She had everything we would ever need. We flew all night, and arrived in the morning. She let us check in early, we were exhausted and she had eggs, bread, coffee and creamer. Everything we needed. What a welcome surprise. I’ve stayed in quite a few air b&b’s around the globe. This by far, was one of the best we’ve stayed in. Michelle was quick to respond to questions I had. Not that I had many because her guestbook laid everything out. The location was quiet, walkable distance to restaurants, and short uber rides to other locations. Michelle also recommended so many great restaurants. I will recommend her home to others, and definitely stay there again when we visit this beautiful city. Such an enjoyable stay

Huge apartment with comfy beds, with super cool art all over! Right near the streetcar line, so easy to get everywhere. Really good restaurants right next door. Travis was super nice and accommodating, would 100% stay again!

Lianna was very easy to communicate with and responsive. Her home was very clean and had very cute touches such as her artwork etc as she is an artist.

This is our second time staying in Janice's upstairs apartment. Love the location and the apartment is decorated beautifully! It is so appreciated to have some snacks and drinks available after a long day of exploring all that New Orleans has to offer. Janice is very communicative and made sure to let us know that reservations are required during the busy holiday season at many of the local restaurants. Also, love the collection of books about New Orleans. Can't wait to visit again!

We enjoyed our stay here! The home was spacious and we appreciated that it had multiple bathrooms. It was convenient to the French Quarter where we were attending a wedding, so we were back and forth a lot and had no issues getting around. Loved the historic charm of the house and neighborhood. Very quintessential New Orleans!

Petra was a great host. She communicated well with us, checked in everyday on us and provided plenty of recommendations. Her house looks exactly like the photos. I am the type of person that packs everything you can think of. Petra literally had all of those things. The area was quiet for us. We would definitely return if we came back to New Orleans.

My husband and I spent five nights visiting New Orleans. Andy’s place was very clean. The only comment, not a criticism, was that it was pretty dark inside due to the awnings over the windows. Since we were there in February, the heat wasn’t really an issue for us. Things we really liked. The heat and the air conditioning worked very well. You could adjust the thermostat to where you wanted. We walked just about everywhere. We did a lot of steps, but were able to see most of the city by walking. The Cemetery’s, World War II museum and the Mardi Gras museum were pretty far. Everything else we were able to access by walking. We were not out real late at night, but we walked back by 9 or 10 and felt safe. Ubers are plentiful and cheap. A couple of cons. We could not find a grocery store near us and had to walk a mile or so to get to a CVS. Bring your shampoo. The TVs are not smart ones , but didn’t bother us. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean, clean, clean and close to downtown. Comfortable beds, clean towels, responsive host and one of my favorite Airbnb’s that we’ve stayed at. Did not disappoint and would definitely recommend staying here.
