Vacation rentals with a firepit in Franklin County

We wanted to ski at Smuggler’s Notch for Presidents’ Day weekend. We found Sherry’s lake house in Milton VT. It was better than the pictures. Cozy and relaxing with a beautiful lake view. We almost didn’t want to leave the living room overlooking the lake. Sherry and her husband are fantastic hosts and I would definitely stay here again. They are proactive hosts who naturally know how to make their guests comfortable. Overall we had a great time and the kids were sad to leave. Highly recommend for a family of four.

We had a lovely stay at Molly's house on the lake. The area is rural and beautiful; we spent days kayaking, cycling to nearby islands, and just sitting on the back patio enjoying the lake. Molly was responsive and friendly.

Had a absolute amazing time Molly and Steve were super accommodating and there home exceeded every expectation my fiancé and I had, beautiful secluded location with local stores within reasonable distance 10/10 will definitely be revisiting as soon as we can!!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

STAY WITH SARA. What amazing and hospitable hosts. We felt right at home - especially when our car key got lost on the mountain and we needed to stay a few extra hours so we could have someone bring us a spare. Sara’s mom even dropped off freshly made blueberry muffins which completely made our morning. we are so grateful that we chose to stay with, Sara - from her quick responses to a cozy and peaceful place to stay, it was great experience.

This place is the perfect retreat for any group looking for a peaceful lake house experience. The pictures were accurate, the house was very clean, and its super close the Canadian border for those who wish to take a quick trip. The host was very helpful and responsive. We appreciated the smores ingredients that were there. I would recommend this place to any small group or family looking for a lakeside getaway. I would go back. Beautiful area.

My family and I had a short, but great stay when we were in town for an event. We had a blast in the garage playing darts, ping pong and doing a puzzle. We did end up taking a few dirt roads to get to the Airbnb, but it’s a beautiful spot and has plenty of space for a large group. We would highly recommend Missy’s house to others!

This is a great place to stay for a trip to Jay for skiing, a close drive to the mountain. The space was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay- including boot warmers! We will definitely be coming back next ski season

This was by far, one of our most memorable stays. We booked Craig and Terri’s beautiful space for our anniversary. They went out of their way to make our stay so special. Right away, everything was easy to find, had clear directions, and when we opened the door to the space, we just looked at each other and said WOW! This is amazing! They thought of everything. Need a charger? It’s there. Sandwich bags? There. Forgot your toiletry bag? They have you covered. Don’t see something you need? Just ask them! We walked in to find a stunning and spotless space with a wonderful welcome basket and a little treat in the fridge for our occasion. The hosts were super friendly and responsive, the views are amazing, and we felt right at home in such a peaceful space. We even got to meet their adorable kitty Mr. Burt Reynolds. After snowboarding the week at Smuggs’ and Jay, it was absolutely heavenly to throw our boots on the boot warmer and hop in the sauna. We will definitely be returning!

We had a great stay. The room was clean and in a great location. The only hiccup we had was the GPS taking us to a different location based on the address given, but a quick call to the building staff directed us right to the correct place.

Very beautiful place and it felt super private/comfy. I have zero complaints and I am looking forward to going back again soon in the summer! Great for a winter stay as it’s close to so many things in the area. The local vibe was also great. We were able to walk to breakfast, the grocery store, and out for coffee. Such a warm environment. 10/10 experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. Molly was a great host. The location was a short drive from Jay Peak. It was clean and cozy. I appreciated the easy check-in and check-out. Molly was friendly and helpful. We hope to stay there again in the future.

It was a great place for four of my friends and I for our annual trip to Jay Peak. The heated garage is one of the best parts for all of your snowboard and ski gear after a day of riding. The rest of the house is also spacious, with great hang out areas in the living room and dining room. We cooked dinner both nights from scratch and the kitchen had all the cooking ware and dishes we needed which was very useful. Absolutely would come back here next year.

We had an incredible stay at the Clover Campsite near Jays Peak! The cabin was exactly as pictured - beautiful, cozy, and perfectly nestled in the snowy Vermont woods. Every detail, from the warm wood interior to the ambient lighting, created an intimate and peaceful retreat, just what we wanted. Daniel & Kristin clearly put a lot of care into making this a special place, and we can't wait to come back!

Bill & Kerri’s log cabin was the perfect spot for our family’s (including fur babies) February vacation! We skied Jay Peak which is about 25mins away and such an easy commute back and forth. We enjoyed spending time playing in the yard with the large amount of snow they received! The cabin was exactly the way it was pictured online. Bill was extremely responsive when we came across some additional questions about the place. Thank you for being such awesome hosts - we would definitely look into rebooking for next year!

Coralee's cabin was exactly what my wife and I were looking for while staying in VT to hike. we loved the peaceful and quiet area and the very comfortable cabin itself. Coralee is quick to respond and make you feel welcome. We would 100% stay at this location again given the opportunity!

Our group of eight, four adults and four teens had a fantastic time at this great chalet. It was so cozy and comfortable. We really appreciated that the kitchen was clean and well stocked and we enjoyed cooking meals for our group after spending our days at Jay Peak. Cheryl was amazing, super responsive, helpful and friendly. We would love to come back to this lovely home on our next trip to the area.

This was by far one of the nicest getaways ever! Beautiful place, warm and cozy. Felt like a home away from home. We had everything we needed and more. Having filtered water on tap was awesome. I wish I could have stayed longer. Really close access to Smugglers Notch, so it was perfect for our ski trip!!

We absolutely adored our mini getaway here! The location was private and scenic just as we anticipated. The interior pictures actually DIDN’T do this cabin justice! It was even cuter, and had everything we needed to cook our meals. The space was clean and clutter-free, with places to unpack all of our belongings. We loved the farm fresh apples and eggs that were left, that was such a thoughtful personal touch! The host, Lee, was very friendly and responsive. All of the rules and directions were also very clear. The only challenge during our stay was the parking situation— due to the winter storm— which is understandable. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a romantic getaway.
