Blue Agave: Art-Filled Adobe w/ Outdoor Fireplace

CyndyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Blue Agave is what you’d expect from pictures posted and descriptions written. It is a style that I love! It was roomy enough for six adults and conveniently located for the activities we had planned. The door lock is tricky - you have to pull the door towards you in order for it to unlock. Just make a mental note of that if you plan to stay there.

Marfa Gaze - Desert Retreat

LivRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My husband and dogs and I had a phenomenal 2 week stay here! The property managers were extremely responsive when any need came up and have been very helpful in returning a left behind item to us. The WiFi was perfect for supporting two individuals working remotely on calls at once. We had my sister and some friends join us for a weekend and - as other reviewers observed - this is definitely an open concept sleeping arrangement for more than 1 couple. We had a lot of fun though and for our group it worked out just fine. Just something to make sure you're comfortable with depending on your group :) Highly recommend!

Friedman Ranch

HeatherRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This was one of the most magical stays I have ever had, anywhere. I can’t say enough about the absolutely stunning home, with every last carefully chosen detail, originality, and high-end vibe. The setting was like no other – reminding me of Steve, McQueen‘s quote, “I’d rather wake up in the middle of nowhere than in any city on earth” - or of Edward Abbey‘s finest book (in my humble opinion), Desert Solitaire - but infused with an art & Donald Judd essence. I was truly blown away at the deepest level, both creatively and through the ability this home gave me to connect with nature. I also can’t say enough about the kindness of my host, who went above and beyond to answer every question and make me feel so at home, right down to thoughtful farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator and my favorite, Topo Chico water chilled and waiting - with a side of Mezcal. Thank you for an unforgettable time.

The Love House at Corte del Norte

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This was our 2nd time staying at this property and first time with a child (6 y/o) who enjoyed the outdoor space and cowboy pool. Great location within walking distance of downtown and all that Marfa has to offer. The host was inviting and communicative and we would definitely stay here again.

Marfa House: If You Stay Here, You Might Move Here

DaveRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Diane's home is beautiful, private, and so peaceful, yet so close to the centre of Marfa. It is one of the few houses with unobstructed views of the sunset over the desert every evening...seeing it is quite magical. Inside is wonderful too...airy, comfortable, and lovely interior design. A great place from which to explore during the day, and then unwind in the evening. Thanks again Diane for having us, it was a real treat! :)

Studio House: Three Private Suites *3B/3Bath*

JenniferRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We rented the entire property and every square inch is well thought out and beautifully designed. Each apartment feels separate, but there was plenty of space to gather in the larger unit with the pool. The location is central and walkable to all areas of Marfa. A starchitect designed this and it shows.

Once Doce farm

ErinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This place is an incredible place to stay in Marfa. Close enough to town to ride your bike in (10 min bike ride to downtown) but far enough out that the stars were on full display- something you just can’t get when you’re in town. The house is exactly as described- spacious, comfortable, stylish, clean and plenty of space. We will definitely return!

Western Charm at Casa Ocotillo

ImariRating, 5 stars1 week ago
As a native West Texan, I was truly impressed by the beautiful architecture and our peaceful stay at this home. Our host was incredibly responsive and kind. We chose Alpine as a central location to explore all of West Texas, and I highly recommend this home for families, larger groups, alumni weekends, and SRSU graduations. It's the perfect spot to enjoy solitude while also exploring the city and its surrounding communities. We loved stargazing every night in the backyard and catching sunsets on the front patio! A big plus was waking up to stunning sunrises from nearly every window or outdoor nook, coffee in hand—it was pure bliss! The home had everything we could possibly need, so there's no need to overpack. There’s a Dollar General Market, Lowe’s Grocery Store, and plenty of restaurants nearby. The home is absolutely beautiful, and the host has truly thought of everything. I would definitely return and recommend this place to anyone new to West Texas who wants to explore! Central

The Dean House on 2 Acres with a Barn - Marfa Gem.

ErinRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The house has a ton of charm and was perfect for our family of 5. Loved the projector screen downstairs - fun for something different. The lights took some guess work, but part of the charm!

Cottonwood Creek Cabin-Private Yard w/ *BIG PORCH*

MelissaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The cabin interior was very clean, spacious, and fully equipped with everything we needed for our three-night stay. The surroundings were beautiful, especially watching the sunsets and thousands of stars show up in the sky. Since it is in a dark sky area there is a red porch light for use at night. Waking up to the resident deer each morning was such a treat as well. Despite other lodgings on the property, the cabin felt incredibly private due to its spacing from the other buildings. I didn't hear anyone else while we were there. The fenced-in yard was a huge convenience for our dogs, offering peace of mind during outdoor time. However, it’s worth noting that while the yard was cleared of cacti, there were some stickers/burrs typical of the Texas landscape. We made a habit of checking our dogs' paws after each outing to prevent them from tracking anything inside. Overall, this cabin was a blend of comfort, privacy, and natural beauty, and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

The Yonderosa Marfa - NEW!

AtheneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We truly enjoyed this really special place! We spent a lot of time in the backyard playing games and well as watching movies in the living room. We cooked several family meals together in the kitchen that was well stocked. Bed rooms were very comfortable. Definitely recommend this wonderful space to others. We were not disappointed!

Cabana Marfa

J.RRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had an amazing stay at Jim’s beautiful 100-year-old home in Marfa! The place is cozy, well-decorated with antiques and art, and perfectly located near all the great dining, shopping, and museums the area has to offer. The indoor and outdoor fireplaces made for such a relaxing retreat, especially in the evenings. Jim was an incredible host—very accommodating and understanding. I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Marfa! I’d definitely come back. Thanks, Jim!

La Casa de los Abuelitos

JasonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A very nice stay. The house is even cuter than the pictures imply. The street is quiet- but you’re only a few blocks from the grocery store, a sandwich at Bordo, etc.

Casa Hermosa. The Starlight and King suite

DanRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Casa Hermosa is a single structure with two separate, cozy and comfortable suites - The two-bedroom Starlight Suite and the single living, kitchen, and bedroom King Suite. Each suite has a full bathroom and patio. It's cozy, comfortable, private, quiet and just a few blocks from downtown Fort Davis including the Courthouse and Blue Mountain Bar & Grill. We stayed in the Starlight Suite and enjoyed the view of the Davis Mountains with its intricate rock formations. Very dark at night for excellent stargazing. Gorgeous desert sunrise & sunsets. Nice thoughtful touch providing a multi-port charger in the living room for your devices. Matthew was friendly, response, and helpful providing us with flexible options on checkout. Will definitely visit again, and recommend to friends.

Milky Wayfarer

SapanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
When in Marfa, you must stay at the Milky Wayfarer! Ylana and Rob were excellent with their communication and checking in was a breeze. The house itself has a retro decor and we loved it! It had all the required amenities - comfy beds, spacious and clean bathrooms, a lovely living room and fully equipped kitchen area, and a fantastic backyard (which lends itself well to stargazing). We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return! P. S. - An added bonus was that it was walking distance from the restaurant Bordo, which is an essential Marfa experience!

Cosmic Roadhouse - Rocks & Art & Wide open space!

PatriciaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nicks place was so spacious! It’s still super cozy but with all the room you could ask for. The kitchen is huge and has so many amenities that are just so thoughtful like ziplock bags, a Bluetooth speaker, pens, scissors, notepads, box cutters, you name it! They all came in handy. The patio is so pretty with string lights and it’s huge! The beds were clean and cozy. And it’s a super quiet neighborhood as well. Definitely recommend!
