Cottage vacation rentals in Forestville

This is a charming place, beautifully kept with lovely furnishings. We really enjoyed the well appointed kitchen as we cooked every day. The yard and gardens are beautifully kept, peaceful and serene. Oranges growing right outside the house! We were in town for a wedding, and Santa Rosa is right in the middle of so many enjoyable things to do. We hiked on the CCT out past Bodega Bay, enjoyed restaurants in Healdsburg, visited the redwoods and shopped at the Barlow in Sebastopol. Thank you Cheryl for sharing your lovely home. We had a fabulous time!

This was a perfect spot for a personal retreat. I loved everything from the decor to the comfy bed to the private hot tub and well tended garden. I would love to come back again.

We decided last minute to stay an extra night at the Russian River but had to be out of our other Airbnb. Marc and Brett were super responsive and made it possible for us to check into their place in the same day. The home is absolutely stunning, we were so sad to be there only one day. We bbq’d dinner and enjoyed the back yard and loved the porch! Will definitely need to do a longer stay!

Super cute little spot. Walking distance to Sonoma Plaza and it had a private hot tub. Good distance from some vineyards and wineries as well!

Tami’s place was perfect for two people. We didn’t get to use the patio much due to cooler weather but we didn’t get to sit out some. Hot tub was great! We would definitely stay here again.

Zorelle provided many recommendations for our stay, the cottage was beautiful, quiet, and had everything we needed. The creek out back is so peaceful to sit and listen to. I would definitely consider staying here again!

Our weekend getaway @ Linda's in Middletown was wonderful! The cottage was comfortable, the backyard and surrounding nature was beautiful, and Linda was a very welcoming host. Our dog had a wonderful time too :)

This home is absolutely beautiful! The outside is gorgeous and relaxing. The outdoor patio and hot tub are amazing! The location is also fabulous. We went to the Bothe-Napa state park and the Castello di Amorosa both of which were only 15min away as is downtown Calistoga which is really cute. We really enjoyed our stay!! The only slightly problematic feature is the toilet, it doesn’t really work.

We had a wonderful stay here. The accommodations were exactly as listed and met all of our expectations. The truly best part of the stay was sleeping with the window open and being able to hear the river flowing below. Can’t put a price tag on that serentiy. Great location and would 5/5 recommend this for your stay!

Alissa's listing, the Perch, was such an amazing find and stay! Outside of being in such an idyllic environment, the listing itself is extremely clean and comfortable. We arrived at the listing with our dog, and Alissa's dog, Canela, became friends with ours! The listing is also a ~15min drive from Bodega Bay, where you can find amazing crab sandwiches and clam chowders (also very dog friendly)!

Me and my husband went to Karen’s place for our honeymoon. The house feels homey, clean, complete with EVERYTHING we needed, even COFFEE which I love! It rained during our stay but we didn’t mind because we felt so comfy in the house that we didn’t feel the need to get out and find things to do. The place was easy to find, and we did not have a hard time looking for restaurants in the area. Overall, it was a lovely stay. Thank you Karen!

We had a fantastic stay! The kitchen was well-stocked with all the kitchenware we needed, plus a brand new grill that was perfect for evening barbecues. The hot tub was a real treat, providing a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. We also enjoyed spending time on the beautiful deck, which along with the stunning backyard next to the river, made for a serene retreat. One thing to note for future visitors is the seasonal accessibility of the river. During our stay in April, the river was somewhat obscured by plant overgrowth, so direct access wasn't possible. This may change as the season progresses into summer, but it's something to consider when booking. Overall, a wonderful place that I’d happily recommend!

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at the cottage! This was the most ideal location, in walking distance to everything and a grocery store a stone throw away! The house was clean and comfortable, we would definitely recommend and are also excited to return. Thanks Marta for being such a responsive host!

This is a very relaxing getaway. The outdoor spaces are the star. The pool is deep and refreshing but not too cold. The hot tub is pristine and had a wonderful view of the trees and creek, so great to unwind in. The outdoor shower has multiple modes and good hot water. Unlike other places we’ve stayed there are outdoor towel hooks which is something many places don’t bother to include. Lovely creek views, nice landscaping, and soothing water sounds. Great deck with outdoor table, chairs, umbrella, grill. Really enjoyed being here. The cottage itself is charming and the kitchen well stocked. The bathroom was the one minor disappointment in an otherwise lovely property, it was clean but dated. The fireplace is wonderful to curl up in front of and read and the view of stars at night was wonderful. Dream Sonoma left snacks and wine which made for a great movie night. Well located to Sonoma restaurants and attractions. Overall a very nice place to spend a weekend!

Ryan was a lovely lost and flexibly accommodated us, which made our spontaneous second night hassle-free. We loved that since we had a few more stressful days behind and ahead of us. The place itself is an oasis of serenity. The sounds of the creek behind the place while youre relaxing or sleeping are super calming. Lovely firepits outside, lovely kitchen and very chillable environment outside. Ryan was very generous and provided fire logs, so we enjoyed a cozy fire in a cold night with some great wine. 10/10 would visit again immediately.

Enjoyed our stay here. Felt safe with the gated entrance. Location's great about a 12 minute drive to Healdsburg. Great space layout and enjoyed the fireplace in the living room.

The Moonrise Cottage is beautiful. It is just as the pictures show. Gorgeous, amazing views. Tasteful inside. Peaceful retreat. We loved it! We were lucky enough to see the 99% full moon rise from cottage. Something not to be missed! The woodstove was nice to have on the cold evenings. And even though it was cool, I couldn't resist an outdoor shower, which was great. Aaron was perfect about communicating with us, including a great guide to the area.

We enjoyed the space; check in was quick and easy. If anything, the cottage was nicer and more welcoming than the pictures depicted. We had an emergency come up where we had to cut our stay short, and they were very kind and supportive. We would definitely stay again, and have no hesitation in recommending them as hosts.

Our family of four with two kids (ages 10 and 6) had a wonderful stay. The house is cozy and perfectly well-appointed. We loved the hot tub and being surrounded by redwoods. We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this was one of the best. We definitely felt at home. The kids loved the bunk room and had no problem sleeping in there-it was not too cold even with rainy weather. We just used a space heater to warm it up before they went to sleep. There is a fantastic bakery five minutes in both directions and it’s close to the ocean, the river, and the awesome little towns. Highly recommend!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend. The grounds were beautiful, staff friendly, and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. We hardly drove anywhere at all due to how close it was to town. This place has everything from umbrellas for rainy days to picnic baskets for day trips, wine glasses and bottle openers in the room, and even bikes! We enjoyed the fresh pastries in the morning too. Best weekend getaway we’ve had in a while!
