Great night at Hélène and Claude's place. The bed is ultra comfortable. They are very welcoming and the breakfast is exquisite. This is one of the BEST airbnb I've ever experienced. They are often sold out by the way. You'll have a choice of lots of homemade jams and delicious homemade bread. If you need to rent bikes, they are very well equipped (to be booked of course). You can safely park your car in their beautiful home. There are many sports activities to do around their home as Fontainebleau is not far away. If I have to come back to Melun, I would come back to their place without hesitation.

An excellent night at an imposing house 5 minutes from the station. The rooms were large and I had a superb night's sleep. Even better, our hosts found a camera lens cap that I thought I had lost and drive over to our next b&b to deliver it.

Very pleasant welcome for a cozy, cozy and nicely decorated room, in a very nice house. there is not much to do in the direct surroundings (but a very good Argentine restaurant nearby), so it's better to have a car. The room is part of the house, but convenient private access is offered, and you are there with peace of mind. Thanks again for the very warm welcome.

Beautiful stay in this charming cottage, in the middle of nature. Our hosts, in addition to being welcoming, renovated this magnificent hunting lodge in the style of the time. The homemade breakfast was wonderful, served in a room with a large fireplace, a good fire was waiting for us. Go quickly without waiting to experience this adventure!

Our stay with Maia was wonderful. She is an extremely gracious host (and person), who was proactive with communicating and welcoming us during check-in. I was traveling with family (including an infant), and everything was already arranged for the infant at the time of our arrival - much appreciated! Maia clearly enjoys hosting and went out of her way to ensure our comfort. Breakfast was a great part of the stay and definitely made our stay feel more like a homestay than a hotel/rental. If you're looking to stay in the area, I definitely recommend staying with Maia!

We had a wonderful two night stay at Isabelle's place in early October - we were there primarily for bouldering, and the location couldn't be more convenient (a short drive from virtually all the top sites, and even walkable to some, though with small kids in tow we didn’t attempt that!). Isabelle and her brother Miguel were fantastic hosts - friendly and accommodating but also providing us privacy and a chance to enjoy the beautiful house and gardens. Guests should be aware that having a car is helpful - while there is a lovely little bakery right in the village, getting to restaurants and supermarkets requires a short drive (Isabelle provided a very helpful guide to local options). We would definitely come back, and will recommend it to our friends!

Great stay at Géraldine's. Her home is a haven of peace, surrounded by nature, perfect for bringing dogs. Géraldine is a very kind, attentive and available host. It feels good right away!

Passing through the area Laure was super hospitable to welcome us on Christmas Eve. We highly recommend it. Quality and hearty breakfast

Carine's farm is a slice of heaven, we discovered it in winter, perfect setting to rest. Delicious breakfasts. Cool & cozy atmosphere. The farm itself, restored by Carine and her husband, is beautiful.

I only spent one night just thinking about sleeping and leaving, but what a nice surprise! I had the chance to meet them and have a great time with this great couple. We chatted a lot, they're incredibly kind and made me feel like a family home. Madam is a talented artist, and I even fell for one of her paintings – it was me who insisted on seeing her works, and I don't regret it! Their welcome was very attentive, and their adorable little dog was the cherry on the cake. An exceptional human encounter, a stay far beyond my expectations. One thing is for sure: I'll be happy to come back!

Brilliant stay and a stunning room

We were first greeted by the two dogs of the house (Samba and Ursula), which the children loved after the long drive. After a friendly welcome, we were shown the beautiful rooms. We were allowed to use the small kitchenette in the bar for dinner. The place has a very cozy atmosphere and is in a quiet location.

While traveling for work, a good relaxing time was enjoyed. I recommend it.
