Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Florence

We enjoyed our night's stay. The home was perfect for what we needed. It is a small quaint home with lots of character and warmth. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the fenced-in backyard the covered back porch and the driveway. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much for your hospitality! We highly recommend!

The Keller Cottage was phenomenal! It was so much more than what we expected it to be! My husband and I had a great time. It's located in a good neighborhood and not too far from downtown. It was such a quaint and cozy cottage, give this place a try!

Another wonderful visit to Magnolia House!! This is our pick of the places when we return to Florence to see friends and family, and we do so often due to being a travel family. Our 2 year old loves this home as much as we do and refers to it as “my home” when we pull up. She even remembered there being a Christmas tree there from our last visit which goes to show you it is truly the little things that make this place the place to stay. We, of course, will be staying again!! Definitely recommend!!

Was in town for a bass tournament with my boat. Great proximity to the boat ramp and house had good parking for a full size truck and boat. Will definitely stay here again.

Second time staying here and hope to come back again. Weekend stay with 2 kids. Hosts are great at communicating and were very helpful getting me booked with them again.

Beautiful place, very private and perfect for what we needed

Great stay, the place was well described so I knew what to expect. Had a last minute reservation (literally, night of) and they were VERY accommodating and extended my stay an extra night when I asked if that would be possible. I had issues with the lock due to my own lack of familiarity with locks and they responded immediately and kindly to help walk me through it. They checked in a couple times to make sure I didn't need anything. The only cons (which I didn't mind but I feel it may be important to others) is the parking lot is a quick steep. My boyfriend and I both had mustangs and had no issues. The other con is the stairs leading to the second floor are tiny and slim. again, not an issue for me, but could be for someone else, so felt I should mention that! Loved my stay, would highly recommend this!! Also, no carpet so it was perfect to bring my kitty with me. He's fine on carpet but loves to slide on hard floors, so it's just a bonus!

We had a wondeful stay in Tuscumbia with Jacque and David. Our room was cozy and private and beautifully decorated. Jacque and David are wonderful hosts and we felt right at home. Very very kind and welcoming. They even saved us from severe weather!!! 🌪😱 Definitely a night to remember, but we are grateful for their proactiveness and hospitality. We hope to come back when its warmer!!!

Great little spot out on a country road, does have a few neighbors and few dogs barking here and there but overall away from city life and peaceful. The place was clean and as described, the bathrooms connected to the 2 bedrooms were a big plus. TV was big. Great to watch movies or sports on. Kitchen is a little dated but overall a great value for the location and cost. It fit our schedule for visiting florence well and was a better fit and more affordable than many comparable hotels. Host was very kind, proactive, and responsive. 10/10 would stay again.

This is my 3rd or 4th stay at the historical “Governor’s House”. But my first time in this unit. I loved it! So roomy. I was 1 person but it could easily accommodate 4. This whole property is so interesting and convenient. Right on the UNA campus. Beautiful & safe surroundings. Heard the marching band practicing last night! Walkable to all Court Street restaurants, shops, cafes, banks, etc. Affordably priced too:)

The host was very responsive. The place was decorated really cute. It felt safe. The bed is a memory foam and fairly firm. We found it and the pillow to be comfortable and the bedding was nice. The ceiling fan in the bedroom really helped keep it cool. The shower head was the BEST. Cute area. Not walking distance to town but Companion Roasters was a block away and the best coffee ever. I had the cold brew with Marshmallow foam. To die for. They are closed on Sundays or we would have gone back. Definitely a must. This was perfect for us. An easy short drive to town where parking was easy, cute shopping, great restaurants and bars. We loved River Bottom Grill, the Lava room and Jack’s. This place was affordable and really cute. Would definitely stay here again.

It was the best place for my best friend and I to stay. We loved how close to downtown we were. We felt safe in the neighborhood. We would love to use Amanda’s place again. It was ideal for us. We had a blast. Oh the bed was so nice. Great place for 2 people.

Freshly-decorated, perfectly clean, with a great balcony. Tips for dining and entertainment. Very comfortable. Safe, convenient, and well-priced. We will rent this space again!

Charles was a great host! My family and I had a wonderful time well staying at his property. The property is Located Just outside of downtown in the historical district of Florence. It is a wonderful place to stay if you like to walk to a lot of the restaurants around the area. It is a peaceful place to stay, Great for winding down after a long day of activities

2nd time staying in one of Charles’ rentals. Highly recommend! Simple space, but clean, and a lovely view over the water. Such a fun space to stay in, and close / easy to get to things you need nearby. Instructions made check-in very easy as well.
